City folks don’t know how good they’ve got it being able to GPS everything so easily. Country people give you an address like “5 CR-257a, but use google maps cause Apple will take you to the far side of the river, 45 min away. If you smell the paper mill you’re almost there”

For those in the South on the Gulf or elsewhere unexpected, why don’t people talk about the beaches or ocean in Texas, MS, LA, AL Like half of the states in the US are on the coast or immediately near a tiny coastal state, why is it just Florida and California? Lot of my family is from Tacoma, WA and CA, grandparents had a house on the bay, have one on the bay between western Mexico and Baja California,l I’ve been to the beaches in Oregon I just don’t get it
