Anyone here still fully loyal to Claude Code? Most devs around me seem to be experimenting with Codex now.

@dramaricic I tend to agree. Also many people posting screenshots but don't disclose the app.

RESTful APIs may be dead soon. Instead, web services may expose a single POST entry point for a prompt. Internally, an AI agent may decide how to interpret it and what to do with the data and the database.

@karankendre You do realize that personal finance apps like Mint have existed for a while now (2006) and we still have financial advisors 20 years later.

@icanvardar Not me But plenty of people already do on the different wealth management platforms Difference with OpenAI is they would potentially have access to a bunch of other info/apps as well

@DanielSmidstrup @AiroPrompts I can't say that X has generated much traffic on my end. I've much more success with ASA. I think X is great for people to gain followers but the other builders are probably too busy to try other people's apps 😅

Launched my app 2 weeks ago without spending a single $ on marketing Just me and my fiancee making viral skits Today we will hit: -#40 in the App Store -40,000 Downloads -30,000,000 organic views across all socials This is basically our first app yet, starting to build a cracked team and move at 10x speed We are the best at creating organic content for apps, beyond blessed to have a funnel now Can’t wait to see where this takes us

@erikgoinsHQ I think at some point it's gonna come down to ROI. Do you really need to ask AI every question or could you just generate a simple business rule (using AI) that costs a lot less to run.

Worth thinking about this before hyping up AI too much. tl;dr AI is going to be super expensive. My take is that we need a lot more model optimization - not less AI. Eventually, we'll actually have to ask - should we be using Opus 4.7 with Max effort to fix spelling errors? thestateofbrand.com/news/ai-subscr…

@IterIntellectus As much as I enjoy using AI, I think I'm gonna keep this data segregated. Personal finance is not that complicated. Who the hell has 4 fitness memberships they are not aware about anyway?

Hardest part of ASO now is getting initial downloads Can't rely on an app store boost (not as reliable as it once was) You might think hiding your app name will stop copycats (it will) But it also stops people from checking out your app out of interest (which gets more downloads, which gets you more positive signals for the algorithm) If you want to share in public. Go all in. Benefits outweigh the negatives imo.

Vibe coding → building is no longer the hard part → millions of new apps → everyone becomes a founder → competition explodes → distribution gets harder → personal brands matter more → audiences become communities → communities become businesses Do you agree?
