@AdrianBethune @petergates3 @mathillustrated Well, many female academics are overlooked and have their ideas thieved by mediocre men. So this does not surprise me at all.
But the notion of “origins” is perplexing. Whose value base? What sociocultural context? etc.

I find it very interesting that people who only ever banged on about the science of learning & knowledge richness are now writing books and giving talks on belonging.
If you want any tips from those of us that have been focused on this since day 1, give us a holla 👋

Seems to me that we should also talk about the 'tactic' of conflating inquiry with discovery learning.

@h2sdrummer @mathillustrated I think most importantly people have shown they don't support non-ability grouping starting in middle school either. So let's summarize - no public support for it and no evidence it works. Schools can do better to not have rigid tracks or lower performing teachers at bottom track
