Today, it begins. Today, I’m so happy to say: @solaafghanistan's 2026 admissions season is now open. You can find our application here: (forms.gle/1QukvedhyYrifL…). The application is available in English, Dari, and Pashto. The questions are the same in each version, and students and families should complete whichever version they’re most comfortable with. Only one application per student, please. We have also posted our admissions FAQ on our website where you will find information about our campus in Rwanda, our curriculum, and much more. As I’ve said previously, we can only accept applications from girls who are under the age of 18. If you are 18 and over, I absolutely encourage you to consider our @SOLAxOnline program. We enroll students of all ages, we have tens of thousands of Afghan students learning with us, and it’s entirely free. The final day to apply to SOLA is June 15. We will contact shortlisted students by the end of September. Join your Afghan sisters in Rwanda. This is your time now. SOLA is a home for Afghan girls, and we’re waiting for you.

Today I’m making the announcement I look forward to all year: @solaafghanistan's new admissions season is about to begin. 2026 admissions will open one week from today on Monday, March 23. Our application will be available on our website starting on the 23rd, and students will be able to complete their application in English, Dari, or Pashto. More information about admissions will be coming this week, including a list of Frequently Asked Questions for students and parents. Everything will be shared across SOLA’s social media and on our website. Last year, as you know, our admissions season shattered all records. In 2025 we received more than 5,300 applications from Afghan girls worldwide. We could admit only 53 girls. These girls are traveling to Rwanda on a rolling basis with chaperones from the UN’s International Organization for Migration, and I could not be prouder of this enduring partnership between SOLA and @UNmigration. SOLA can only accept applications from Afghan girls who are under the age of 18. We simply can’t bring every girl to SOLA who wants to come – but what we can do is bring SOLA to you. That’s why we’ve created our @solaxonline online program. SOLAx turns two years old this month: we have more than 31,000 students studying with us, and it’s completely free. We provide a full 7th and 8th grade curriculum, and we offer STEM courses on the 9th grade level with 10th, 11th, and 12th grades coming soon. I encourage every student who is age 18 and over to visit our SOLAx website, look at what we do, and join us. We built SOLAx for you. March 23 is a day of deep meaning. March 23 marks four years since girls in Afghanistan had the doors of schools closed in their faces. Every Afghan remembers that day, and with SOLA in Rwanda and online with SOLAx, we continue our mission to educate Afghan girls, the generation of women leaders who’ll bring peace to Afghanistan. We don’t look away. We never will.

امروز اعلامیه‌ای را با شما شریک می‌سازم که در طول سال با اشتیاق فراوان منتظر آن بودم: فصل جدید پذیرش‌ مکتب سوله @solaafghanistan به زودی آغاز می شود. پذیرش‌ سال ۲۰۲۶ یک هفته بعد از امروز، در روز دوشنبه ۲۳ مارچ آغاز می‌شود. فورم درخواست از تاریخ ۲۳ مارچ در وبسایت ما در دسترس خواهد بود، و شاگردان می‌توانند درخواست خود را به زبان‌های انگلیسی، دری یا پشتو تکمیل کنند. در جریان این هفته معلومات بیشتری درباره روند پذیرش منتشر خواهد شد؛ از جمله فهرستی از پرسش‌های متداول برای شاگردان و والدین. تمامی این معلومات از طریق صفحات اجتماعی مکتب سوله و همچنان در وبسایت ما شریک خواهد شد. همان‌گونه که آگاه هستید، سال گذشته فصل پذیرش ما تمام ریکاردها را شکست. در سال ۲۰۲۵ ما بیش از ۵۳۰۰ درخواست از دختران افغان در سراسر جهان دریافت کردیم. اما تنها توانستیم ۵۳ تن آنان را بپذیریم. این شاگردان به‌ صورت تدریجی با همراهی نمایندگان سازمان بین‌المللی مهاجرت سازمان ملل (@UNmigration) به رواندا سفر می‌کنند و من به این همکاری پایدار میان مکتب سوله و IOM بسیار افتخار می‌کنم. مکتب سوله تنها می‌تواند درخواست‌های دختران افغان زیر ۱۸ سال را بپذیرد. ما به سادگی نمی‌توانیم هر دختری را که آرزو دارد در سوله آموزش ببینید را به اینجا بیاوریم — اما کاری که می‌توانیم انجام دهیم این است که سوله را نزد شما بیاوریم. به همین دلیل ما برنامه آنلاین سوله ایکس (@SOLAxOnline) را ایجاد کرده‌ایم. برنامه سوله ایکس در این ماه دو ساله می‌شود: در حال حاضر بیش از ۳۱٫۰۰۰ شاگرد در این برنامه درس می‌خوانند و این برنامه کاملاً رایگان است. ما نصاب کامل صنف هفتم و هشتم را ارائه می‌کنیم و همچنان کورس‌های ساینس، تکنالوژی و ریاضی (STEM) در سطح صنف نهم در دسترس است. به زودی صنف‌های دهم، یازدهم و دوازدهم نیز به این برنامه افزوده خواهند شد. از تمام شاگردانی که ۱۸ سال یا بیشتر عمر دارند دعوت می‌کنم از وبسایت سوله ایکس (visit our SOLAx website) دیدن کنند، با برنامه ما آشنا شوند و به ما بپیوندند. ما سوله ایکس را برای شما ساخته‌ایم. 23 مارچ روز مهم است. این روز چهارمین سالگرد بسته شدن دروازه‌های مکاتب به روی دختران در افغانستان است. هر افغان آن روز را به یاد دارد، با حضور مکتب سوله در رواندا و با برنامه سوله ایکس از طریق آنلاین، ما به ماموریت خود برای آموزش دختران افغان ادامه می‌دهیم؛ ماموریتی برای پرورش نسلی از رهبران زن که روزی صلح را به افغانستان باز خواهند گرداند. ما رو برنمی‌گردانیم. و هرگز از این مبارزه دست بر نخواهیم داشت.

It’s with every emotion happening in my heart all at once that I want to share the final numbers from @solaafghanistan's 2025 admissions season. We received 5,385 applications from Afghan girls around the world. From these applications, we shortlisted 794 students. We interviewed these students, many of them more than once. From these 794 students, we’ve admitted 53 girls. We’ve waitlisted another 47 girls. These 53 girls originally hail from 24 of Afghanistan’s 34 provinces. They’ll be joining their classmates in Rwanda, joining their sisters they never knew they had. Our 2025 admissions season set every record. We’ve never received this many applications. We’ve never shortlisted this many students. And we’ve never enrolled this many students either, which we can do because we’re building our new Rwanda campus. We’ll start the school year in this new campus this fall. It creates so many opportunities. It creates so much hope. And I feel hope today. But not only hope. Our acceptance rate at SOLA is just under 1%. We said yes to 53 girls. We said no to almost 5,300 girls. 5,300 Afghan girls who want to do what should be the most common and ordinary thing in the world. They want to go to school. Every emotion is happening in my heart all at once. To every one of these 5,300 girls, I say: you are an inspiration to me. You are committed to living a life of dignity. I hope you continue to seek knowledge, and I hope you never give up. Never give up on yourself and on the future of Afghanistan. To every one of these girls, I say: join us on @SOLAxOnline. I see the news from Afghanistan. I see the destruction in Kabul and in the provinces. I see Afghan women and girls. I see the Afghan people. I will never look away. Never.
