We have information that Moonshot AI distilled Anthropic’s Fable for the development of its K3 model.

The GTA 6 hacker who was given a life sentence in a hospital prison, has now been transferred to a normal prison after doctors deemed him fit to stand trial and will face a criminal trial in November.
He spent 2.5 years in the hospital prison, which he preferred as he had access to the community, fishing, cooking, shopping and even getting employment benefits.

At my university we implemented floating point operations without floating point registers in MIPS assembly, it was one of the tasks I remember most fondly today.

@GodsLibtard @techdroider Have you seen how quickly Bloodborne emulation moved on ShadPS4? For these x86 consoles if there's focus on emulating one game specifically, it can be fully playable very quickly. These emulators are closer to Wine than RPCS3.

@techdroider don't over hype yourself. It's early days, will take years to emulate gta6, at that point there will be a PC release anyways. I'd just wait for the PC port, what's a few more years atp

Windows users aren’t just going to sit and watch Rockstar launch GTA 6 exclusively on PS5 and Xbox
PS5 emulator development is moving faster than ever, with GTA 5 already being booted using the KytyPS5 emulator. Developers still have months to make serious progress, and I wouldn’t underestimate the PC community.
PS4 and PS5 use the same basic x86-64 CPU architecture as modern PCs, so developers don’t need to emulate everything from scratch. Some code can run directly on the PC, while the emulator translates the console-specific parts to make the game work.
Holding GTA 6 back from PC just to make PC players wait is a dumb move anyway. Feels like Rockstar wants to push more PS5 and Xbox sales... wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some kind of exclusivity deal behind it.

PS5 Emulator for Windows is almost here... There are now 4 PS5 emulators in development, and SharpEmu has already booted Demon's Souls Remake. It only reaches the boot screen for now, but this is a crazy breakthrough. Just seeing a PS5 exclusive boot on PC is something many people thought was still years away. People don't realize how big this is. Rockstar is going to start feeling the pressure. GTA 6 is the game everyone wants on PC, and PS5 emulation moving this fast is the last thing publishers want to see.

I think that the reason PS is even considering removing physical copies is simply because the majority of people are complacent in being sheeple.
If 50% of sales were physical, they wouldn't. But in reality, only like 10% are.
FWIW, I am not against digital-only copies per se. I am against copies that require some foreign server to operate even after your purchase.
But again, most people don't care, and only get mad once it actually happens.
We have a saying in polish: "mądry polak po szkodzie" - "wise pole after damage". You suddenly become so smart and realize how bad it was, but it already fucking happened and you never thought about it before.
These businesses operate to extract as much money as possible from you. They will only do what you let them do. If 90% of people let themselves get buttfucked, they will.

I just finished encoding the new Werewolf trailer and this thing is drenched in film grain. Even at 98 Mbps target, the grain holds strong and stays completely intact. x265 handled it cleanly and preserved all that gritty detail. You're going to need a fast USB for this trailer because the bit-rates are maxed out all the time because the ultra heavy film grain.
When this comes out on 4K Disc, Universal are really going to have to use high bit-rates on this one to get it to look good. Because low bit-rates mean you can't resolve film grain correctly. I'm using beyond placebo settings, and I can see that this grain is really making an impact on the encode. I'm using 2 bframes, which is the best setting for film grain QP using x265. This thing is maxed out.
