There's a confession here that the SFA knowingly selected a Celtic fan to officiate a Celtic game. Yet there's no real noise about it and no real surprise. In any other country there'd be a media storm, it'd be treated like a scandal. That speaks so much about the Scottish game. Grim.

@stephebissett Tbf, with the angles the referees have, it’s inconclusive whether it’s out or not and when it is, you go with the refs decision. You might wanna use the Johnston vs hibs decision as an example of a similar decision that went the other way which imo, was wrong, but they’ve learned

@lewisdufc01 Tbf I’d say it’s a fair ranking for it but I’d put the Dundee derby higher, it’s been pretty entertaining the last few years

@Bobmcphail1872 Been saying since he came and chermiti came in. They offer so much apart from that goal threat. They’re hold up play, movement on and off the ball are good. It’s just that movement in the box that needs to improve imo.

I love Naderi and think he's going to get even better for us. Strength, running power, link play, good movement (if you actually watch him), good touch, a team player. Think he'd excel as the point man instead of the deeper role but I think him and Chermiti are a handful for defences - centre halves no longer getting to stroll about against us. Just need to see the goal threat level nudged up and we're cooking.

@Hun_Occhio @888MumbaiMagic As much as I can get When I do though I only look at the ticket once to know what turnstile Im going in so dont really have the need to remember the stand beyond that. I get if u go to the same stadium many times youd likely remember the away ends name for me its the cooper stand

@Hun_Occhio @888MumbaiMagic Well yeah but I’m not often watching rangers on tv coz I’m at the game. And stand names being mentioned on commentary I feel like is more of an English thing, especially those 2. But with scotland, I feel like it’s more rare they say the acc name and rather just home or away

@matnic10 @888MumbaiMagic If you are interested and watch rangers games you would naturally just pick up knowledge when stands are mentioned constantly in commentary. Just like I'm sure you know the Stretford end or the kop.

@Hun_Occhio @888MumbaiMagic Idk why u would expect every football fan in Scotland to know stand names of multiple grounds tbh u might have an interest in Scottish stadiums and therefore would know a fair amount of stands but for me I couldnt give a shit about other clubs stadiums so why should I know stands

@matnic10 @888MumbaiMagic Actually it would appear only rangers fans think its cool to pretend to know of no stands at any grounds especially at their biggest rivals 🤣. It's just another staunch act that makes huns huns.

@888MumbaiMagic @Hun_Occhio Do you memorise every stand you’ve ever been in? 99% of ppl don’t care what the stands called so have no need to remember it. Being in a place you have zero interest doesnt automatically mean you should remember what its called, especially if it’s the names of stands in a stadium

@Hun_Occhio Every fan who goes to an away game, the ticket has the stand name stamped on it. Your support would have to be retarded not to know... oh haud on... he could well be right.

@WinstonIngram @NS_1872 That number will be exaggerated but it’s not uncommon for clubs to oversell the away sections when the old firm come to town.

🏟️ In all the drama yesterday, we glossed over the fact that Rangers took 23,256 to an AWAY game. We took over 3 out of the 4 home stands. When Britain’s premier club comes to town, you’ll do as your told. Out your seat you 🫵

Calling Black men the n-word is racism. If John has coprolalia and can’t control the slurs he says, he should watch from a separate area, not in the main audience where Black people are exposed to slurs

@MuiryyCeltic Tbf in the Scottish cup at least, the police also have influence in what the allocation will be. I know at least rangers have been given less that was requested due to police intervention at pittodrie. Celtic may request it, rangers may be fine w it but the police say no 🤷‍♂️

If we don’t get it for this game we’re never ever getting it back If both boards had any sense they’d use this as a catalyst for allocations to go back to normal, I’d give them a full allocation for the game after the split and put this pathetic mess about allocations to bed
Celtic FC News Room@cfcnewsroom

Celtic could be granted a huge away crowd for the upcoming Scottish Cup tie against Rangers. That is if Police Scotland and other relevant authorities pass the request. Rangers were drawn at home to their arch-Glasgow rivals in the quarter-finals of the tournament last night following Falkirk's win over Stenhousemuir. The game will be played on the weekend of March 7/8 at Ibrox - just one week after a Scottish Premiership meeting between the sides at the same venue. For just under a year now, the Glasgow giants came to an agreement which saw each side allocated just over 2,000 tickets for the respective away games on league business. However, unlike in the SPFL, Scottish Cup rules, dictated by the SFA, highlight that a much larger allocation can be requested by visiting clubs. The rule states that an away team can gain a maximum ticket allocation of 20 percent of the stadium's capacity. This would result in Celtic being handed 10,000 tickets for the cup quarter-final, which would essentially see the Hoops being given the full of the Broomloan Road Stand. Both clubs would need to come to an agreement on the matter, along with the SFA and police for the request to stand. Martin O'Neill's side defeated Dundee in extra time to progress to the last eight of the competition, meanwhile Rangers thumped Queen's Park.

@huell_2 Out of the 75 penalties he’s scored in his career, 54 have come in the spfl. So even if you take them away, he’d be on 46, and still top of this list. Hope this helps
