The decision now empowers a PRIVATE COMPANY to take family farmland that's been with families since the Civil War. That reportedly includes some families whose ancestors farmed the land dating back to slavery times. Families and farmers argue this is a ‘an abuse of eminent domain: a private company using government power to take land primarily for its own benefit’. Next up... Supreme Court.
