@aerielist These days, I think they’re one and the same. I remember when I first started going raving around 2006/7 and the sound the likes of Krafty Kuts and Scratchperverts were playing was typically referred to as breakbeat, but it’s pretty redundant as a genre umbrella in 2022 (imo)
