@matt_shown @ThoughtfulSaint @blatant_sock I can "x does not exist" is logically equivalent to "of all the things that exist, none of them is x" To prove this, you would have to check all the things that exist, which is obviously impossible.

It's just over and over these guys not understanding burden of proof. It happened in the Trent debate, the Joe debate, the polygamy discussion, and continuously on x

You can prove a negative. There are no dinosaurs living on the face of the Earth. There are no married bachelors. There are no Muslims on the United States Supreme Court. That’s at least three negatives proved there.

@blatant_sock You can’t prove a negative. You can only disprove it by providing evidence. If the claim is: “The evidence presented so far is insufficient,” then the other person is the one who must provide sufficient evidence to overturn that assessment.

Yesterday, 57,380 Kentuckians used early voting - 33,604 Republicans, 23,150 Democrats and 626 Independents. Over the first 2 days, early voting numbers are up 75% (!) over last cycle. Polls are open today and Tuesday - find your locations and hours at govote.ky.gov.

@TryinDaily @ThoughtfulSaint Lots of assertions to move away from the point. Yet all the LDS prophets have produced is greater confusion than Christians have ever had.

There is only 1 infallible source and true authority... God. Proper earthly/mortal authority is always distanced, due to the fall. There is no infallible sources on earth. No in any book or through any man. There are reliable sources. Together those sources strengthen their mutual reliability. It's why the Old and New testament are stronger together than either is alone (or any of the individual writings within them). Combine with proper priest hood authority given Apostles/Prophets to create scripture, interpret scripture, and establish/clarify doctrine... You have an even stronger joint source of reliability. God never claimed He was done asking His Prophets to Hear Him and continue to add to the records of reliability in the previous scripts and writings from ancient and modern reliable sources. Moses wasn't Infallible. Isaiah wasn't Infallible. Peter and Paul weren't either. Their work was inspired... But it's Their words... For what God inspired them to write. It doesn't mean they did so infallibly. The Bible has many clear contradictions Who is to settle them? Who has the authority? The more from God we have... The more reliable the whole is.

To compare apples to apples, on the first day of early voting in the May 2022 primary, 28,327 voted - yesterday's turnout is an 80% increase over that. So: Wow.
