@j_divis The problem is that he referred to it repeatedly as a translation, not a revelation. There are documents, like the Egyptian Alphabet and Grammar, that show an attempt to match characters to English text. Consider that you're only repeating talking points b you want it to be true.

After reading all the comments, I am of the opinion that most people do not do their own research. We are taught to study and ask God what is true. I invite everyone to do their own research and then pray and ask God what is true.

Aside from LDS (of course) My fave types of Christians are non denominational. Simply cuz they tend to be a lot more respectful & understanding of other ppls walks with God I noticed regardless of denom a lot of ppl struggle with judging ppl too harshly for having diff beliefs
