“But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment... he that judgeth me is the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 4:3–4 “There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy... who art thou that judgest another?” James 4:12 “Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth.” Romans 14:4 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” 2 Corinthians 5:10 “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” John 5:22 “And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.” John 5:27 “The LORD shall judge the people... judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness.” Psalm 7:8 “For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.” Isaiah 33:22

Forrest Frank said “Joseph Smith is still in his tomb” Well, actually, he is not placed in the tomb built for him and his family, he is in the Smith Family Cemetery. So he is not in fact “in his tomb.”

Everyone says religion is caught in internal conflict. Tradition vs. change. That’s the narrative. Not the reality. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is built for what’s next. Future-focused. Faith-driven. 55 new missions opening July 1, 2026. Watch what happens.

I'm starting to think you're either genuinely ignorant and retarded here, or you're being dense on purpose. "here's why Mormonism is false" is indeed the same rhetoric that has repeatedly gotten our members killed or hurt time and time again stop acting like a liberal, grow up and realize that we are well within our rights to react as we are to shit like this. if you were truly a member, you'd understand the pain of constantly being ridiculed and shunned purely because of what they THINK you believe do not make me remember what it was like for me to be abandoned by my former friends because of my beliefs and opinions (mostly political, but the idea still applies)

If you can't form an internal critique... That's on you. Pointing to dumb stuff Brigham said... Isn't moving the needle. Everyone knows Brigham had some wild ideas and opinions. That's all they ever were. You clearly don't "get" how our Epistemology works if you think citing JoD and BY is proving some point. It's not.

Moses received 2 sets of tablets, the 2nd was different it did not contain the priesthood. Because the people rejected the 1st they were given less. When we accept and believe what we're given (the Bible) the Lord gives us more (the BOM). You choose -- less or MORE?💜

@WhtPrl95 @ThoughtfulSaint The church was dishonest with its stock portfolio for 22 years in a row—this isn’t being financially responsible.

Compared to the top humanitarian aid providers on the planet, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints led all faith-based donors and provided more in total expenditures than the EU and the United States. This table shows the Church ranking 7th in total expenditures provided among all entities of the world.

I'm no Apologist. Go talk to @LukeFHan or @Lets_Talk_HC... Maybe @ThoughtfulSaint if you want apologetics. ... You're wearing a tinfoil hat asking really stupid questions that have flawed foundations and are irrelevant... Meaningless. I'm not interested in talking to someone I can't take serious.

@TryinDaily @RykerJackson97 You avoid the lying of the post manifesto polygamy. And say your church is true? And then won't contend with the questions? LDS apologetics getting weaker by the day

God is the only truly infallible source. God is the Rock of truth. I don't understand your last question. These aren't opposites. On balance we look at the totality of scripture and what is taught by Living Apostles. I think it's important to couch everything within this concept and principle. "The fundamental principles of our religion are the testimony of the Apostles and Prophets, concerning Jesus Christ… that He died, was buried, and rose again the third day… and all other things which pertain to our religion are only appendages to it." Joseph Smith Novel concepts, ancillary policy, etc aren't important to core faith or belief. It's why there are a lot of opinions... Because opinions aren't doctrine. Doctrine is universal truth. Opinion is ... Someone believes x. Well is it supported scripturally? Do all living Apostles teach it? If not... It's not doctrine. Scripture is based in language... Language is always subjective. Semantic drift, cultural / localized meaning, etc. Translation necessarily introduces anachronism... Men inject meaning the best they can based on their personal bias in all types of editorial choices. Consider the Catholic Bible vs Protestant versions. There are over 400 English versions of the Bible. Which is right why? Authority resides with those with direct and true Apostolic Authority with direct Apostolic lineage from Christ. These and only these (together unanimously) can interpret scripture, establish doctrine, and administer sacraments. We don't view anyone as infallible... We view Apostles, including the Head Apostle who is the President of the Church and The Prophet, as reliable. We are encouraged to never follow blindly, but to take everything to God directly for a personal confirmation. So... while we do say "follow the prophet"... It is not taught that we follow blindly... We follow intentionally as guided by the Spirit. "And again the elders priests and teachers of this church shall teach the principles of my gospel which are in the Bible and the Book of Mormon in the which is the fulness of the gospel." (Doctrine and Covenants 42:12) "And the Spirit shall be given unto you by the prayer of faith and if ye receive not the Spirit ye shall not teach." (Doctrine and Covenants 42:14) "All that we teach in this Church ought to be couched in the scriptures... If we want to measure truth, we should measure it by the four standard works... If it is not in the standard works, we may well assume that it is speculation, man's own personal opinion..." (Harold B. Lee) Revelation becomes doctrine through unanimous agreement of all Living Apostles... Canon is proposed by them, and accepted by common consent. As stated we prove and take on balance all that is taught by anyone against scripture. So, if someone says... "Mormons believe..." I ask... Show me scripture.
