@laneallenw Kansas Farm Management is a great resource and very helpful with the hands-on approach. TEPAP is fantastic program that will push you tremendously. You won’t find a network greater than it.

Anyone got a good online farm finance/business course? I didn’t exactly go to college, and though my parents seem good at business, I feel I am falling short. Something a bit more than “debt and assets”, something more with borrowing, operating, cash flow, etc etc. TIA

@laneallenw @mattfamfarms They have multiple scholarships available. Check if your bank will help cover some costs. Session 1 is a must and not 10k. If you take the course seriously and apply what you learn, it’s worth WAY more than 10k anyways…..

@TandTAg @sellis_1994 Shelbourne leaves residue standing and with little material going through combine, no mat of chaff to fight a seeder/planter through - better seed placement. The Shelbourne residue shades soil and beans, better growing environment. Been a DC game changer here.

Shelbourne head in downed wheat? Not concerned with planting through it but how does double crop soybeans yield/grow in the tall stubble? @sellis_1994
