I'm proud to share that my journal article "Decision-making in Nunavut's Impact Review Process" is now published in the Lakehead Law Journal llj.lakeheadu.ca/article/view/1… This was a labour of love dating back to law school. Glad to see it across the finish line.

Conservative Party of BC Leader John Rustad’s personal investments are almost entirely in gold, an unorthodox strategy associated with investors hedging against inflation or worried about economic collapse. thetyee.ca/News/2024/10/1…

“Ottawa sends the rebates to offset what people pay in carbon pricing when they buy fuel...
People who do things to lower their fuel use are even better off, because they still get the same rebate but pay less in carbon pricing.” theglobeandmail.com/canada/article…

Climate action + equitable wealth redistribution should be NDP priorities. While the NDP have left the door to industrial pricing, we’re in a climate emergency and it’s critical to be straight with the public about the facts of the consumer carbon pricing system.

I’m deeply disappointed to see the NDP abandon consumer carbon pricing. Not only is it a critical and effective tool for reducing GHG emissions, 8/10 people get MORE money back than what they pay! theglobeandmail.com/canada/article…

Did you know the premiers that are scapegoating carbon pricing can remove the federal backstop as long as they have a plan to reduce GHG emissions at the same rate? They haven’t because the other options are MORE expensive.

Carbon pricing is the least costly and most effective way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Ask yourself: do you want to do nothing, or pay more for other approaches? ecofiscal.ca/2024/03/26/ope…
