'Those people who say new exploration licenses will somehow create huge amounts of energy for us... I mean, they're just wrong' Ed Miliband told ITV News that drilling for oil in the North Sea wouldn't bring down Britain's energy bills

Greatland Resources (my crush 🥰) reported a large increase in resources at Telfer. It now has 8M oz, plus another 7M oz at Havieron. Plus, 645Kt of copper at both sites. If that doesn't get you excited, they have $650M in cash and no debt. Plus, their current annual FCF run-rate is at $650M. They won't have to borrow a penny to build Havieron. app.sharelinktechnologies.com/announcement-p…

The assay results from the 2025 drill programme at Red Setter confirm the presence of gold and copper mineralisation within the diorite trend extending for c. 4km. The results support the potential for the project to host a large-scale mineralised system within one of Australia’s most prospective gold–copper provinces. For 2026 we have designed a fully funded 25 hole drill programme of apx 9,000 metres to follow up on these encouraging results and to test extensions of the mineralised system. We are actively working with our geological teams to mobilise the drilling crews to site as soon as practicable once the rainy season ends in April. Red Setter is in the Paterson Province of Western Australia, one of the most highly endowed mineral provinces in Australia. It is located 20km south-west of Greatland Gold Plc's Telfer gold mine, and 50km east of Cyprium Metals Ltd’s Nifty copper mine - as shown by this image: #mining #exploration #minerals #gold #copper
