I'm curious... What's your most proud moment from very early on in your work life/career? For me, it was back when I was an intern at the Baltimore Sun in 2009. I was a junior at Towson University. At the time, I was mostly updating box scores and fielding calls... But soon, I was assigned to actually go out and cover some local games. And I fell in love. With writing. With interviewing. The pressure to go back and write it all up before that night's deadline. Anyway. Seeing my first byline is my answer. Even though it was "just a high school game." It had the nice picture and everything... And I still have it saved and laminated 🤣 I love what I do now in the investing newsletter industry as an Executive Editor. But this is a reminder to never forget your "roots"... After all, journalism is how I got my foot in the door doing what I do now. (Thanks to @MattBracken for showing me the ropes)
