@TicsVitsJacThic This ain’t the hill to die on IMO. We are well covered at Fullback and 5/8 which are his two main positions. Signing him to a deal would block the pathways for the talented juniors that are coming through. Plus the Bears would be paying him far more than he’s of value to us.

@MatthewAguilar5 Marvis packed a hell of a lot of names on his his resume in just 21 professional contests. James Broad, Joe Bugner, Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson, Quick Tillis, Bonecrusher Smith, Jose Ribalta., Philipp Brown. Not bad!

James “Broad Axe” Broad had violently KO’d Frazier in the amateurs. This was Marvis’s redemption fight & it was exciting and impressive and got him the Holmes fight, as undeserved as it was. Broad ended up badly brain damaged and homeless and died in 2001.
