It’s been ~80 years since we stopped using tin when making foil; it’s actually aluminum. Regardless of your pronunciation of aluminium (I prefer the UK/proper way), it’s not tin; it hasn’t been your entire life. and yet… the misnomer remains. Say it with me now: Aluminium Foil.
