How exactly do they afford the renovations on your genius “fixer upper” when they can only scrape together £5k for the deposit you fucking moron? They aren’t building extensions or doing major work they have zero cash left and no buffer 😂 Once a 3% price dip puts them in negative equity the bank won’t lend them another penny and they can’t sell. Yeah as this Greens Deputy Mayor says, why should a private landlord make a profit?! It’s not like there would be a mass sell-off of private housing and would crash the rental market making people like him homeless.
