An 18 year old violent felon, who had a history of robbing women at gun point in parking lots across Los Angeles, unknowingly picked the worst place possible (thankfully) to spring his trap in the Fallbrook Center parking lot earlier this year. That very parking lot happened to have several undercover Los Angeles Sheriffs department officers sitting there investigating an unrelated crime and they observed the strong armed robbery in process. Officers decided to perform an impromptu 9mm ballistics test on the criminal's torso after the criminal fired at them. The test was successful and the criminal died in the parking lot, saving taxpayers millions of dollars and preventing the innocent woman from being victimized.
