this is fine. they're industrious, self-starting, went outside in the winter to do work while we sat inside on computers. there are much worse uses of government money than this.

@DollPariah had to look this up because I knew (for a fact) that diet coke had 46mg. but it's true that coke zero sugar and coca cola classic have 34mg. very interesting and a compelling reason to consider coke zero in the late afternoon vs diet coke in the early afternoon

restaurants are gonna start having this and sprite zero sugar for people to drink in the evening. caffeine is a beautiful tool but it needs to be used with circadian caution. people will be waking up to this over the next few years.
