@Phil_Baty Agree. Somethings just don’t change ….I got a CDE in my A levels in 1986. Lost my places, was not considered good enough as a mature student for a uni so went to a poly. Got a very high 2:1 and it started my road to learning. Nearly 40 years later, same pattern.

I’d like to imagine a world where universities are places for growth and development. Where hard working lecturers support students’ learning. Where your prospects are not fixed at 18.
