Who’d have guessed? Arsenal from an inswinging corner. Poor defending by Chelsea. Perfect execution by Arsenal. White got it. Gabriel was there, too. Another assist from Rice. #CHEARS

The points deduction Everton got showed the disparity in treatment between a club with endless money & political influence and one without. It was a PR tap-in.
"Why won't the Premier League punish clubs for trying to leave the Champions League," on the other hand is just stupid.

They told us for last 3 years the reason they werent putting funding into the midfield was they were saving the money for Bellingham...
Honestly they are gas lighting the fanbase.
FSG will only get away with this as long as the Liverpool fanbase lets them get away with it👍

🚨 As things stand, Liverpool increasingly unlikely to sign Jude Bellingham this summer. Expected price & financial power of rivals puts #LFC hopes in doubt. Pursuit not off & no firm decisions but sense is #MCFC + #RMFC in stronger position @TheAthleticFC theathletic.com/4323076/2023/0…

@babuyagu To be in good positions quickly enough to recover. The goal came from a play from the half way line so at lest 3 players were in more advanced positions. Whole point of transition is to have the opposition out of position. Sometime the opposition just get it right.
English

@babuyagu Isn’t the point that because Trent is so good at that usually and players expect it to come off they are in positions for it to work. On the occasions it doesn’t they are out of defensive positions and if the opposition play it well it is always going to be hard for players

@marcshaw76 He won’t be in the team to do that. Dont think he is that good anyway but Grealish MK II for sure

@TheAnfieldWrap @TheCenci The volley he set up for himself at Spurs was one of the best goals ever!

"The deft finishes, the piledrivers, the most famous header in our history and, his favourite, the lob.
"The awards came as no surprise. He was simply incredible."

@anfieldonline How he played a full 90 minutes I have no idea. Needs a wake up call and spend some time on the bench.
English

@martynziegler Did he ‘receive the ball’ from an opponent though? Looked to me like he tackled him. That may be the difference.
English

Yep goal decision was correct IMO - same as if Mings had tried to play back pass and Rodri (in offside position) had intercepted
