Some interesting staking stats: Currently on Starknet, there is: > ~1.53B STRK (~50% of the circulating supply) > ~216K STRK holders In staking: > ~261M STRK staked > ~66.5K stakers This means: > ~17% of the STRK supply on Starknet is staked (~8.5% of total circulating supply) > ~31% of holders are participating in staking How do we improve from here? > Bring more STRK from L1 to Starknet (there’s still ~1.5B STRK chilling on Ethereum) > 31% of holders staking is already great, but we can probably push above 40% > Let’s aim for at least 30% of the total circulating supply staked to be considered gud (note: Starknet Foundation and StarkWare, the largest holders, currently can’t stake) Some questions: If you’re staking: what would make you stake more? If you’re not staking: Why not? Are there specific conditions you’re waiting for? If so, what are these conditions? If you're holding back because you want to stay liquid, note that @endurfi already offers STRK liquid staking (xSTRK). xSTRK is already integrated across the Starknet DeFi stack and is incentivized by DeFi Spring (nfa)
