@ARCRaidersGame Time to experience another game… no longer interested in this one.
English

@cpllaig @Dammit_Ivaldi @ARCRaidersNews Did you miss the part where my original comment was stating that we can put to rest the morons that act like the entire player base was ONLY PvE players?
English

Aleksander Grøndal, executive producer at Embark Studios, revealed that 30% of players mainly focus on PvP.
According to figures he shared with The Guardian, roughly 30% stick to PvE, 30% go pure PvP, and 40% mix both. Solid split.
Surprisingly, 95% of players in ARC Raiders use proximity chat — that's nearly every single player in the game.

@Sinisterinit @xiHuNt3rKiLL3Rx @charlieINTEL I’d argue those are all a lack of new content not negative changes per say but I do agree with all of them. Core game play is still there for me it just doesn’t quite have the same magic it did in the beginning. Hoping their new updates change that.
English

@matthojsik @xiHuNt3rKiLL3Rx @charlieINTEL No new maps. Poor and boring map events. Too many reskinned arcs. Too many arc buffs and they've focused the game more on PVE which makes it so much more boring if you want to PVP or PVPVE like me. A lot of things that were fun about the game simply aren't there anymore.
English

@Dammit_Ivaldi @ARCRaidersNews You’re so pathetic you lost the argument so poorly you had to atttack my religion. Get back to your anime furry gooning and enjoy the rent free frustration I’ll be providing for you for the rest of your miserable weekend 🤡
English

@matthojsik @ARCRaidersNews Yeah you're genuinely fucking braindead dude. Then again you promote retarded ideologies so it makes sense.

English

@Dammit_Ivaldi @ARCRaidersNews Omg, I didn’t realize you were actually retarded. Now you’re trying to switch topics but THE BEST PART your own stat disproves you. 51.5% knocked out 10 raiders = majority did PvP. Thanks for playing. 🤡
English

@matthojsik @ARCRaidersNews Are you actually stupid? It says 30% are purely PVP & 30% are purely PVE. The remaining 40% are basically undetermined as they could be PVP or PVE. Half the steam community hasn't even hit 10 knockouts, something that's easily achievable in your very first day. PVE is preferred.

English

@DqRoman1 This is a genuine question (not a big gamer, but arcs been one of my favorite games lately) what do you mean by lack of competition and what is so bad about the core gameplay? Obviously good/bad is largely subjective but i don’t understand the hate this game seems to get.
English

I hate when people try to be intellectual about games by just saying random buzzwords.
CS players been playing the same game mode on dust using the same gun for 50 fuckin years. It doesn't have shit to do with updates no matter how much the internet tries to point that as the blame.
Reality is, the core gameplay of arc raiders just isn't something that's gonna keep players for 10k hours like some other titles. People played the fuck out of it for a couple months straight, had a blast, then got bored.
Arc raiders is one of the least competitive extraction shooters out there, and competition is what makes a lot of live service games thrive long term especially in the shooter space. Constant updates is a bandaid fix that brings people back for update day, then the numbers just dip even lower after a week. Just like destiny. It's big spikes, then bigger drops. Updates can't hide shallow gameplay forever.
The gameplay loop just isn't one to invest all your free time into. And that's okay. Every game doesn't have to consume your life.

I've seen talk about Arc Raiders playercounts dropping significantly since launch. It's a really fun game, but the devs only have themselves to blame. You NEED to be updating your game with new maps, guns, modes and skins if you want players to return and they haven't done that.🤷♀️ DO BETTER and your players will stick around. Otherwise, there's millions of other experiences to choose from.
English

@Dammit_Ivaldi @ARCRaidersNews Are you actually stupid? It says 30% of players are purely PvE, the other 70% are PvP or Hybrid.
English

@matthojsik @ARCRaidersNews Math is difficult but it literally shows that the community is split 50/50 on PVE/PVP
English

@ASFleischman Economies of scale and cheap ingredients, makes total sense lol.
English

@matthojsik @Darkblade198821 @ShitpostReels Going on the website isn't a prerequisite for going into the restaurant, and it shouldn't be a prerequisite for having information on a product
English

@charlieINTEL yeah bro we are all on call of duty. no one is playing that game anymore
English

@Sinisterinit @xiHuNt3rKiLL3Rx @charlieINTEL What negative changes didn’t you like? My main complaint is that I don’t feel like there hasn’t been a meaningful update since Nov/Dec. Hoping that changes soon.
English

@xiHuNt3rKiLL3Rx @charlieINTEL Not really. Was great. Made too many negative changes that killed it off. As well as cheaters
English

@imStanDarsh @xiHuNt3rKiLL3Rx @charlieINTEL DAUs is significantly higher even after the decline, somewhere around 600k-1.2M. These engagement farmers posting steamdb don’t understand the word concurrent or cross platform I guess.
English

@xiHuNt3rKiLL3Rx @charlieINTEL It’s still fun af. Especially trioing with friends that recently got the game. Also, 100k daily players is still a fuck ton of players.
English

@noxiousd @the_seeing_only @ARCRaidersGame Calm down pal. No one disagrees that the game needs more content, fix cheating, etc - this conversation was about purely regarding a PvE only mode - which my opinion is ABMM is the best way to appease all segments of players - the PvP, the PvE, and the hybrids that love both.
English

@matthojsik @the_seeing_only @ARCRaidersGame Yeah, God forbid a game offer variety for different level of players. Or a game where hacking and teaming in solos is rampant causing the player base to decline. Catering to more than just the tryhards
English

@danmanv2 @the_seeing_only @ARCRaidersGame I agree. One interview I saw they inferred they were going to continue to refine the system which I hope they do. I think the obvious one is figuring out how not to penalize people as aggressive if they are defending themselves.
English

@the_seeing_only @matthojsik @ARCRaidersGame I would love to see the actual telemetry data. It would be very telling.
English

The mechanic you’re saying is addressed by ABMM. If all it takes for someone to quit the game is occasionally getting killed by a player, you’re not sticking around Arc long term anyways. I enjoy both, and prefer the player base is not split up, economy destroyed, etc. ABMM took away a lot of the ‘unknown fun factor’ but i get why they did it, and it seems like the best option to appease all 3 player segment of the game.
English

@matthojsik @ARCRaidersGame Why rely on ABMM? Players choose PVE or PVP and know what they’re gettin into.If a PVE player wants to try PVP they can do that and likewise a PVP player can grind out inventory in peace before they hop back over to PVP. No downside. Now I’m not playing at all and I’m not alone…
