It’s here! Countering the AI Revolution: preserving the arc of humanity to seed a better future, is now available to order. As in the garden long ago, we are being offered transcendence. I submit that we are being deceived. westbowpress.com/en/bookstore/b…

Reminder - our digital health and cyber security workshop for parents that we presented at CHEA 2026 is available to access in audio format for $5 from CHEA (link below). In this presentation, we introduce parents to the various threats online and the harm that comes from online participation in our modern digital spaces. We follow that with a quick review of the common solutions offered to parents to address these and why they are insufficient. Then we move into a time of helping parents understand that participation online itself is the root of the ill effects we see in our kids, encouraging parents to take up the role of shepherds and to build intentional discipleship, training, and mentorship in their family regarding the use of technology. This is a very distilled version of our full seminar for digital health and cyber security that is on sale for the month of July at 50% off!! All the information and links you need to access the CHEA workshop and our full seminar can be found here: practivesecurity.substack.com/p/reflections-…

I love the book of Ecclesiastes. Seriously, I cherish it. I read it as wisdom to calm the runaway spirit of sinful man, a check against our tendency to desire more, and as an explanation of the yoke Jesus offers us. King Solomon finished the rat race of mankind in every way and found it meaningless, like chasing the wind, while pointing us back to the deeper truth that fulfillment and meaning and purpose in life is found in the simple course of living the life God has given each of us. Accept your story as a gift given and enjoy it as such. This is hard for us, but it is the very wisdom of God.

New York school district to become one of the first in the United States to introduce a humanoid robot in the classroom. 'Sally' will have a Western New York accent and will teach 11th and 12th-grade students at Salamanca High School. Sally costs less than the average teacher's salary in New York, with a price tag of $57,000. The robot has brown hair, and can move its arms and legs, but will not be able to walk around the classroom. Students will be able to log in so the humanoid can recognize students and their previous interactions. The humanoid will be helping teach coding, robotics, and AI classes. The school district promises that robots will "never" replace human teachers. ‘Sally’ is made by Realbotix, which also produces "companion" robots. What are we doing here?

Why haven’t we heard any news about the progress of the Trump Admin’s Genesis project? Because it was given to the Department of Energy. Exactly as I warned at the time. DoE is where our government sends things where there can be no oversight or regulation. A project to create a new world that we cannot know about.

Interpreting things rightly requires a sense of proportion. This is particularly tricky nowadays since we live in a hall of mirrors.

Review from a reader of Countering the AI Revolution is exactly why I have been writing about all this: “I absolutely would recommend it. I’m shocked by the realization of how little I really understand about AI. And I consider myself a relatively intelligent and politically/socially aware person. This inspires me to get the word out by encouraging people to read this book. I appreciate the balance between the technological, theological, and political balance you’ve struck throughout the book. So grateful for your commitment to getting the word out about this. So many quotable lines that I’m underlining throughout!!” Available from WestBow Press, Amazon, Barnes and Noble and more. westbowpress.com/en/bookstore/b…

@DrFrankTurek So in other words, live as if you don’t believe in God? I doubt you mean what you wrote. Might want to delete this one.

@MattInformed I think it’s funny that people believe all these tech CEOs suddenly became Trump fans after he was elected. They are “fans” of whoever holds power. Their goal is power and control.

It’s not about public safety. It’s about mass surveillance. They create the crisis (defund the police, opening the border) which necessitates the “solution”…surveillance of ALL.
Rep. Andrew Clyde@Rep_Clyde

There’s 80,000+ Flock cameras across the U.S. These surveillance devices perform 20 BILLION license plate scans per month, tracking your every move. No warrant. No judge. No accountability. This is a clear violation of our Fourth Amendment rights. We must STOP THE FLOCK.

I suspect it will take people a bit longer to realize the AI world means an end to individual property and ownership rights and the pillaging of the earth’s raw resources unlike anything we have ever seen. How can anyone own anything when everyone is promised access to the raw materials and manufacturing resources needed to provide them the anything they want that Elon and Altman offer in this new world? Unless our future embodiment will be all virtual . But think of it. Altman says that with AI, each of us will have the power of all of us combined to explore and craft the world as we want it to be. Elon says under universal high income money won’t matter and you can have anything you want. He recently said that in the AI world, anyone can have a penthouse atop a skyscraper. Really? Amodei also speaks of total abundance. Really? How does this play out exactly? If anything is affordable and instantly available through automation and robots, think of the chaos that mankind will create, and the raw pillaging of natural resources and the reshaping of our land. Naw…it won’t happen. It won’t come to pass. But we seem hell bent on getting as close as we can…which may be worse.

The anti-surveillance response to flock cameras is affirmation that the AI Revolution is un-American. We are rejecting it before we even fully appreciate the danger. But total surveillance and control is not only required for the AI world, but it is one of the promised benefits. And our younger generation is already being conditioned to accept this.
