I waa discussing 1991 wcw with a friend last night. With all of the stupid tbs tie ins and jim herd ideas, i was suprised that wcw wasnt pressured to have a captain planet tie in.
Jim herd wanted ric flair to be Spartacus at one point. Had flair's contract been extended, could flair been pressured to be captain planet? The great ideas in jim herd's head were endless.

@JWMediaDC ECU has had an inferiority complex for a long time, so I don’t think they deserve to be in a better conference like the ACC or Big 12.

I have seen plenty of ECU supporters pushing the Pirates, and I have no trouble with that. In my columns, I stay away from pushing USF. The fact is that they are one of, if not the best, programs in the G6, and fair or not, there is not much talk about where ECU is headed. The Pirates deserve respect, but it's not up to me which conferences move.

@DanielleTrotta Full context matters. Dixon was asked if he wanted more distance added to IndyCar races like in Nashville. His direct answer was “I don’t know. I find it really hard to watch Cup races these days… It allows for a nap.” Even NASCAR fans complain about how long races get…

My thoughts on those Comments about Scott Dixon:
Completely unprofessional to be trashing a Motorsports Driver when you already work in Motorsports.
She absolutely should not be allowed in an #INDYCAR Paddock.
Maybe look at IndyCar’s Ratings before you say something like that.

There was no announcement of which two drivers stay but Rahal and Foster are under contract for next year. Schumacher told us Monday "there's a high chance" he races INDYCAR next year. Conor Daly is the favorite to be the full-time driver for Dreyer & Reinbold next year.

USA Sports has added Trevor Bayne as a pit reporter for all 14 races it will televise/produce. In select races, Bayne will be reporting live from inside the pace car.
