Marco Rubio says he's considering banning Canadians who celebrated Charlie Kirk's death from entering the United States If you celebrate political violence you are not welcome in the United States of America Should he ban these psychopath leftists from entering his country?

On this Patriot Day, I will never forget where I was on September 11, 2001. I was working at Boston Pizza during the lunch rush with a full section of tables, yet you could hear a pin drop. Every eye was glued to the TVs as we watched in shock and grief while the Twin Towers fell. Even though I live in Canada, my heart was heavy for our neighbors to the south. I’ll never forget the images of people leaping from the towers, desperate to escape the flames. It’s hard to fathom the depth of evil that could cause such horror. And yet, even in the darkness, heroes rose. We honor the courage of first responders who ran toward danger, the resilience of survivors, and the memory of those who never made it home. We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

In light of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, I’ve been doing some soul-searching. He was 31 when he was killed. That was the same age I was when I was curled up in the fetal position in my parents’ basement, battling a benzodiazepine addiction from a tainted “all-natural” sleep aid. At that point, I was praying for God to take my life because the withdrawals were unbearable. I didn’t always believe the world was this evil, but age and experience have opened my eyes. In deliverance ministry, I heard stories of atrocities so horrendous that some I cannot even repeat. Others I have likely blocked out. God gave me grace to bear them, but those stories showed me just how fallen this world really is. So while Charlie’s assassination grieves me deeply, it does not surprise me. And sadly, neither does the celebration of his death by some. The Bible says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). “There is none righteous, no, not one.” (Romans 3:10). Even Paul called himself the chief of sinners, crying, “O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?” The answer is the only hope we have: “Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord.” If you think humanity is basically good, you are living in a fantasy. Scripture says Satan is the god of this world. He has devices, strategies, and influence, and yesterday’s events were pure evil carried out with demonic influence working through a broken man. I pray the shooter is caught and tried fairly. But I also pray he finds the same grace, mercy, and forgiveness that Charlie himself proclaimed. And that is the comfort we cling to. While we mourn here, Charlie now walks the streets of gold with our Lord. But let me ask you. Do you have that assurance? Do you know where you will spend eternity? The Bible says, “Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13). If you do not know Christ, I invite you to pray this simple prayer right now: “Dear Jesus, I’m sorry that I’ve sinned against You. Thank You that You died on the cross for me. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart by the power of the Holy Spirit. Transform me into the person You want me to be.” If you prayed that prayer and meant it, you are now a child of God. You are forgiven, loved, and secure in Him. The same assurance that comforts us about Charlie can be yours today.

I have received more DMs in the past 24 hours from people saying they will no longer be silent, than I have in the entire year combined, times 10. This was a turning point for so many.

Though my heart is breaking under the weight of this grief, I feel so much rage. I am angry. I want to fight. Tell me how we should fight. I just don’t know. I feel lost. Angry and lost. What do we do now?

My thoughts this evening are with the loved ones of Charlie Kirk. It is heartbreaking that a young family has been robbed of a father and a husband. We must all be free to debate openly and freely without fear - there can be no justification for political violence.

I find it absolutely amazing that we live in a time where disagreement is equated with hate. The left has mastered the art of claiming that anyone who disagrees with them must hate them, when in reality we simply disagree on ideas. If this had been one of their own who was shot and killed, the headlines would be filled with grief, compassion, and vows to stand against hate. But because it was Charlie Kirk — someone they disagreed with — they celebrate his death. The left can no longer be reasoned with. They are not rational. They are not logical. They live according to ideology. And this so-called journalist is no journalist at all. She was fired from Global. She is a political activist and should stop pretending otherwise. In truth, most “journalists” today are activists — so let’s cut the charade. A man was murdered today. He had a family, a wife and two children, friends and followers who loved him. To respond not with grief or compassion, but with suspicion toward those mourning him, is sick. This is what happens when political ideology blinds people to basic humanity.

@PaulaYScanlan People all over the country feel like they lost a family member. I can't get the video out of my mind. It's about as close to a Presidential Assassination there can be.

I hope I'm wrong. But tonight feels like some sort of invisible line has been crossed that we didn't even know was there. The last time I felt like this was 9/11 when it was clear, without knowing the how and the what, that the world was about to change forever. Like the rules of the game had been permanently altered and there was simply no going to back to the innocent, peaceful past. I didn't feel like this when an attempt was made on President Trump's life. If I had to rationalise why I didn't, I guess it's because several US Presidents have been shot at and even assassinated. Somehow it was within the realms of the possible, no matter how awful. But to murder a young father simply for doing debates and mobilising young people to vote for a party that represents half of America? This is something else. Charlie's death is a tragedy for his wife, his children and his family. I don't pray often. I am praying for them tonight. But I fear his murder will be a tragedy for all of us in ways we will only understand as time unfolds. I hope I'm wrong.

I’m deeply grieved at the news of Charlie Kirk’s death. A man who stood unashamed in the public square and gave his all to fight for truth and freedom. Now he has stepped into eternity. My prayers are with Erika, their children, and his entire family. May the Lord bring them peace, and may Charlie’s example stir us to live with equal courage and conviction.
