@dannykellywords Al the best Sir. The best Broadcaster on Talk Sport bar none.
English

@SophyRidgeSky Brilliant Sophy. Thanks for getting Wednesday's plight out there. Be great for you to interview Parry or Birch at the EFL or new IFR.
English

Went on a bit of a rant on telly comparing how Chelsea & Sheffield Wednesday have been dealt with
#swfc
English

@Oxley16Paul @EFL Weasel. He should be invited to Hillsborough Corner for a pre match drink and give everyone an update on the situation 🤣
English

Nick Craig, COO of the @efl. As culpable as Chansiri. Watched Rome burn, then threw on a few gallons of petrol. #swfc #notfitforpurpose #ifr

English

@YesWeCrann @SWFCTrust A good document but may as well set fire to it after continued actions of @EFL. Not fit for purpose.
English

If you heard David Storch talk about 'A Better Wednesday', which was put together by the @SWFCTrust, you can find it here: swfctrust.co.uk/wp-content/upl…
Just one of the impressive things that the Trust has done throughout this period.

@SteelOwl @Azuliblancos They hate him because he wasn't a Geordie and sacked Shearer.
English

@mattsiddall @Azuliblancos Take it up with the the Newcastle fans, I'm only saying what THEY said. I'm sure they hate him for reasons other than clearing the debt.
English

@SteelOwl @Azuliblancos The bare minimum like clearing £250m debt that the Geordie owners left ?
English

@Azuliblancos No, but if he does the bare minimum, as Newcastle fans say he will, he might do just enough to make us worth at least what he paid for us.
Hope I'm wrong.
English

@MarkHowsham @HACKETTREF Took the words out of my mouth. All players to Centre circle.
English

@HACKETTREF Easy.... Don't allow the keepers side to go to the sidelines, make them go into centre circle.
Sorted immediately
English

These unnecessary stoppages are aimed at impacting the momentum of the game and the hope that time lost will not be added at the end of each half. It is cynical and needs to be addressed
Rob Staton@robstaton
Please stop this.
English

@BillDonald1 @Leadmill They chose not to buy the building when offered it. Someone else bought it (another music venue promoter). Served notice of a few years. Now spent a million on the place refurbing it as probably not changed since your play.
English

Just read @Leadmill has lost its premises!? That is so devastating. My fav venue…little known fact, at 18 I co wrote a play that was performed there in front of 80 people! In 1985 🙈.
English

@bradlc94 Yep he’s used to doing that W⚓️ he’s the one in a crowd of lads who starts the trouble then hides while the others sort it out, pussy
English

I have yet to see this fantastic footballer Peck that they talk about so much #swfc
English

Second best for 90 minutes. If Cooper scores before HT it might have been different but we’ve been out thought by their manager & out fought on the pitch.
Impressed with Portsmouth, come here, completely shut us down, took their chances & deserved 3 points #Millwall
English

@stumpyspurs As a Wednesday fan can say he would have been a good option for Spurs. High glass ceiling.
English

@ward147243 @WillHillHelp Not as daft as it sounds. Saved Wednesday when all hope lost. Coached big players. High glass ceiling. Turned Rangers around.
English

Hi @WillHillHelp any chance of a price on Danny Rohl to be next permanent Spurs manager #YourOdds
English

@fuzzywuzzy39 Also failed to beat any top 6 side while at Wednesday. Will be a top Manager though.

Stick or twist? What a decision the Spurs hierarchy have to make about Thomas Frank. 1, stick with Frank? Out of a desire to resist more managerial churn, noting progress in the Champions League, acknowledging the debilitating injury list (11/12), players not taking individual responsibility, including the captain. And who could come in of sufficient stature at short notice? Pochettino after the World Cup, possibly, dream return, but who for now? De Zerbi for the rest of the season? Heitinga? And would you want their first game to be against the best team in Europe? Feb 22, Arsenal visiting.
Or, 2, twist and remove Frank? Why? No wins in the Premier League in 2026. On the slide, lifeless domestically, first half against Newcastle a disgrace. Frank looks bereft of ideas. He’s not convincing in the press conference or technical area. He doesn’t seem to grasp the size of Spurs as a club – history, stadium, training ground - and the fans’ expectations, not about results, but about style. To dare is to do. Not to sit back and hope.
Spurs fans want to be entertained – especially with the price they are paying for tickets. The match-going fans have turned against Frank, and that support is difficult to win back. Fans also been protesting against owners, so easier to sacrifice head coach. Financial ramifications: Spurs cannot risk relegation. They cannot tolerate being so low down the table anyway - every place alone is worth £2.7m.
So which? Looking at the body language of the players and Frank, the board should act now. They can’t risk 11 days of a toxic build-up to the North London Derby deepening the divide between fans and Frank, a decent man but out of his depth at Spurs, and (many) fans and board. If Frank’s team then get taken apart at home by their loathed neighbours with visiting fans in triumphant voice the atmosphere will turn even uglier. A caretaker, even a coach like Heitinga stepping up, would lift some of the gloom.
The logical, clinical decision is to put Frank out of his misery. A decent man and manager, but he's struggling. It just hasn't worked out and there's fault on both sides.
Whenever they make their decision on Frank, Spurs board has to acknowledge the club’s responsibility over recruitment, especially with lack of leadership qualities in the players recruited (tbf Gallagher tries). Spurs need stronger leaders on the pitch and in the dugout. #THFC
