For scenario 2, you're looking at edge first, but I would add TE2 (one of those Rams veterans?), DT (if Durden/Farmer/Taylor don't show the growth you want), and LB as spots to target.

I am team keep the depth into camp when you find out 1. how well your players are developing and how Brown and Doubs fit in and 2. other teams may have injuries that drive up the demand for someone in New England.

I reached out to Mike Macdonald to get clarification on his comments on the @dpshow. I asked if @TomBrady was the person with the “conflict of interest” that gave input to the Seahawks before the Super Bowl. Mike told me it wasn’t Brady that he was talking about in the interview.

@nickmhc Well, that would be the conflict of interest. And that seems more likely to me than a Patriots legend working against his former team while also helping one of his opponents as an owner and breaking his neutrality as a broadcaster.

Seeing the Tom Brady allegations got me thinking... Remember when Devon Witherspoon said the Seahawks picked up a tell from the Patriots' offensive line and knew what was coming? Now add in the fact that Brady spent years with Josh McDaniels and probably knew a ton about how McDaniels builds and calls an offense. Makes you wonder... was it really just an OL tell, or was there more to it?

@mattstdream Uhhh macdonald was the Michigan defense coordinator with a personal relationship with brady. Everyone in the michigan elite football circle knows brady helped macdonald in this game. Its not evern really a secret. Every knows it. Good cope tho
