@greerreNFL @TBFacts26 08: Injury, 09: Super Tough Schedule, 10: WR2 traded away, 12: Best receiver injured for 1/2 the year. Crazy how good he was despite all that.

@BillClog501 @OinkFish_Pigs Lmao I admit I am a little biased on Garcon (my loyalties are split between Pats/Washington, and I thought he played great for us, including stepping up in 2013). Definitely didn't have the best hands. Even so, you could do a lot worse, esp. when you already had Reggie

@reatinevarro @OinkFish_Pigs Amendola 2013, 2015, 2017 w/ NE*: 70.3% catch rate 7 TDs Garçon 2009, 2010 w/ Manning: 54.0% catch rate 10 TDs * was 4th WR in 2014, 2016, 2018

@BillClog501 @OinkFish_Pigs Garcon was way better than Amendola/Hogan lol. Wayne/Garcon was a very solid 1-2. As a reg-season receiver, I think you could easily argue Garcon was just as good as Edelman, who got crazy target volume. White and Tamme were not good at all, yes

@reatinevarro @OinkFish_Pigs If you wanted to argue Wayne’s presence means he had an elite player in a comparison w/ 2014-2015/2018 NE, that’s fine. But I’d argue Ammendola/Edelman/Hogan are all superior to White/Garçon/Tamme.

@BillClog501 @OinkFish_Pigs Fair enough. But I will die on the hill that the Pats/Brady go on a crazy run from ‘07 to ‘09 if he doesn’t tear that ACL. He finally got truly elite weapons, put up the best season oat up to that point, and then immediately took a 2-year career intermission

@reatinevarro @OinkFish_Pigs 🤷‍♂️ Brady got to 3/6 SBs from 2001-2015 in seasons Peyton was either ineligible for the PS (2001, 2011) or clearly not 100% after he tore his quadriceps tendon @ the end of 2014. I just feel like it’s a hollow argument on both accounts.

@reatinevarro @OinkFish_Pigs Edelman wasn’t an elite RS performer but he averaged 8 catches 103 YPG in the PS from 2013-2018. I already acknowledged Peyton obviously had better WRs for a larger % of his career starts. Just saying the total starts - Brady has 69 more games played - is similar.

@BillClog501 @OinkFish_Pigs Also, the total starts metric means Brady had 205/333, and Manning had 227/265. And I imagine you’re counting Brady’s Gronk+Edelman offenses in the elite category, but that is not remotely close to what Manning was working with during most of the 2000s.

@BillClog501 @OinkFish_Pigs The point is that when Manning was in his prime and winning 4 of his 5 MVPs, Brady was essentially not in a position to be all that competitive statistically.

@Brycen2047 I love how it’s not even close to confirmed that Brady did it, yet you’re still posting shit like this. It’s like you’re looking for reasons to hate the guy. Pats have the worst online fanbase lmao

Good afternoon, Peyton Manning has 4 more All-Pro selections than Tom Brady, 2 more MVP’s, the same number of OPOY awards, and only 1 fewer Pro Bowl selection despite playing 5 less seasons

@BillClog501 Tbf, in a sample size this small, the comparison comes down to Peyton dominating a pretty bad Patriots team in '13 and Brady nearly getting killed on the field in '15.

@GPalmerMA @TBFacts26 @iglen31 Cant have a sub .500 playoff QB on a mt Rushmore, it discredits the mt Rushmore. Its brady, montana, unitas, graham. Those were the 4 unanimous QB selections on the NFL 100 team

@TBFacts26 Wow, I was told that Brady played poorly on most of his SB runs and got carried? These numbers can’t be right.

@ryanmichael I do not think you can reasonably fault a defense for giving up points to one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, and to single out that one game as indicative of the Colts defensive performance that postseason is crazy cherrypicking.

@reatinevarro Giving up 27 points in an AFC Championship game with the season on the line = “whatever”?

Is there a weaker Super Bowl champion—outside of quarterback—than the 2006 Colts? • 30th in defensive points allowed per drive • 27th in average starting field position • Leading rusher: 18th in the NFL • Third-leading receiver: 107th in the NFL • Allowed 27 points in the AFC Championship

@BBCInMemoriam This narrative is genuinely insane. And borderline disrespectful to the franchise’s greatest player. Pats fans can be hard to love..

Brady, who by all accounts is close friends with both Vrabel and McDaniels dimed out inside info to the Seahawks to help them win the Superbowl? I'm not following the logic..
Mind Ascends ⭐@MindAscends

@MySportsUpdate @dpshow Definitely Brady. Since he worked with McDaniels he probably gave him all his quirks and tricks. What a scumbag

@Brycen2047 @Dubes123 Fair enough. Either way, I’d be more likely to believe it was Brady if McDaniels/Vrabel weren’t on the Pats coaching roster. Even if he doesn’t like Maye, feels extremely out of character to screw them over.

@Brycen2047 @Dubes123 Down to the specific o-line tells that the current players have? Ngl this feels like it must have been someone from the late Belichick / Mayo regime.
