Generally feel like in central Cardiff you can get decent priced pints (even outside of Spoons), as well as expensive ones. The City Arms is still dead cheap - you pays your money you makes your choice.

The worst Pints to Wages ratios are not in London, not even close.
The centres of the other cities have basically followed London's trajectory without the punters having anywhere near London incomes

Key thing to the Burnham challenge. To win the seat he has to be able to say explicitly he is coming back to seek to lead the Labour Party in a new direction. Voters will respect and respond to that. If he has to feign loyalty to Starmer people will see through it, and he won't win.
