A court heard she sold her home, gave up her money and documents and was then subjected to sexual assault, violence and control. The group’s leader, Abdullah Hashem, is among 10 suspects arrested after a massive police raid involving 500 officers. Allegations include: Rape Modern slavery Forced marriage Physical abuse The woman reportedly managed to raise the alarm after being taken abroad triggering the investigation. Five suspects are now under strict court orders, including no contact with the victim, no access to others’ finances, and bans on entering Crewe. Police say their priority is public safety as the investigation continues. She sold her home for a ‘better life’… and this is what she walked into. Absolutely sickening.
