@jonallie There is only going to be more code generated and it won’t be practical to limit release cycles by human validation. Bad human dev practices will need to become acceptable agentic coding practices. Does it matter that a variation of a function is duplicated hundreds of times?

Half-formed shower thought: we need a better version control paradigm for AI assisted coding. The agent speedup feels great on greenfield/solo projects, but when you start collaborating with other devs, things can fall apart. Either you all exchange huge PRs (abandoning code review, and dealing with gnarly merge conflicts), or stick to a traditional flow with reasonably sized changes, in which case you spend a lot of time waiting for changes to land. Old style version control systems had the notion of files being "checked out" by a user. This was painful, but was a pretty good signal that someone was making changes to a set of files that might affect what you wanted to do. Obviously that had huge downsides, but I wonder if that "signal" doesn't still have value. In theory you could get something like this from git, with automatic / frequent push and pulls. You'd have to deal with the messy commit history, but...maybe the existing "functional chunk commits" strategy is an anachronism

@rabi_guha PostHog has long been a mess of a dashboard. Everything you’ve never used and never will is one click away.

notice something? Linear, PostHog, Attio - all shipped the same thing in the last few weeks. Homepage is a chat bar - not a dashboard. This is the SaaS industry quietly admitting that traditional UI doesn't work anymore. Every user is different. One homepage can't serve them all. The playbook is shifting: → expose your core APIs → connect an agentic layer → let users use software the way they want SaaS became chat. Chat will become Generative UI - the agent won't just reply in text, it will compose the interface itself. We're closer than people think.

Derrick Downey Jr.’s new app DualShot hit No. 1 in the App Store less than 24 hours after launch. The app uses an iPhone’s dual cameras to record both TikTok- and YouTube-ready video at once. #OnTheGrio thegrio.com/2026/03/31/der…

4) If I put more effort into this, I could probably ask it to set up automated outbound sales. But Paperclip doesn't come with sales agents, so I'm relying on SEO. The pages are well indexed…but that only goes so far.

I tried Paperclip - an open source project that lets you set up an "autonomous company" with multiple AI agents. The concept is wild: you act as a board member setting vision while agents coordinate to build and run the company. More >>

It's not writing content that's the problem, it's planning ahead. So here I am planning with Postiz.

@yes2letters I don’t know him, but think it’s fine idea, but still can’t wrap my head around how this actually worked out so well. App is okey ish Insane to me that Apple has not shipped this in the camera app

This app is making millions in less than 18 hours. It somehow rose to the number 1 paid app on App Store globally in less than a day. It’s unbelievable, I’ve never seen any app get to pole position that fast. It’s a $9.99 app Record vertical/horizontal in one take 🤯

Interesting to see that 37Signals failed to monetise their Kanban tool.
Jason Fried@jasonfried

Fuck it, we just made Fizzy completely free. The open source installable version was always free, but the SaaS version was pay. No more. Basecamp and HEY's largess will subsidize Fizzy for all. So go grab your account at Fizzy.do. It's Kanban the way it should be, not the way it has been. Fresh, fun, light, fast, and perfect for working with agents, too. An official CLI is coming soon as well. Stay tuned for that. The native iOS app should be out once Apple approves it (it's in approval right now...). Android is already out, you can get it on the Play store. (and BTW if you were a paying customer, you will no longer be charged moving forward)

@LinusEkenstam We need a better phrase for ARR that's actually only two months old. 👉 £4.5M ARR = £375K MRR
