@lichess and chess.com have done a lot of good for chess. Recently both cut ties with US organisations. At the same time they broadcast games from obvious Russian sponsored events, including Moscow. Should they:

I would probably say top 25% personally. Maybe even top 10%. But I can of course be wrong :). It does not mean all GMs are smart... But there is a lot of dangerously dumb people walking around out there unrestrained... (GMs too)

Innocent until proven guilty. If a crime has been committed, alleged victims should go to the police. MSM is not judge/jury/executioner. What is their motivation? RB has a bigger audience than Channel 4 & The Times combined. Independent media is a threat to the Establishment.

I support rights for abortion, minorities, LGBT rights. In 2015 was among 4 journalists present at the opening of the 1st Pride in Odesa: the event got attacked (smoke grenades). But how someone who's not a woman biologically can be allowed at women-only sport events is beyond me

@Miss_Snuffy So, what do you want to do about it? Ban private schools? And, while you are at it, what would you do about those who pay effective school fees through the premiums they stump up for houses in the catchments of good schools?

These private schools are creating a two tier system for privately educated kids and state, which advantages the rich. This is social mobility at serious risk and no one seems to notice.

It’s a historian’s *actual job* to rewrite history. I wish people would make the slightest effort to understand that. People have been in the place that is now Britain for thousand of years longer than white skin existed.
