The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Amendment Bill, 2026, proposing changes to the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010. Key Features of the Proposed FCRA Amendment Bill, 2026 Emphasis on transparency, accountability, and legal certainty. Introduces a comprehensive, time-bound mechanism for handling assets created using foreign contributions. Empowers the government to prescribe validity periods for receiving foreign contributions and their utilisation. Reduces the maximum imprisonment for unauthorised receipt of foreign funds to one year. Mandates prior approval of the Central Government before initiating criminal proceedings. Introduces Section 14B to provide for deemed cessation of FCRA registration upon expiry, non-renewal, or refusal of renewal by the Centre.

@raybankachasma yes, aadhar card pe jo nam hai vo dalna, either you can't submit online form they will deliver physical card at address you fill (can take 3 months, but application approval and e-EPIC will be available in a month)
