I'm not sure why Angel Reese is being discussed here. She's playing for Atlanta now and this post is about the job Rickea is doing in Chicago and her impact on the team. But if we're going to go there, let's go there. First of all, inefficient players can still impact winning or they can collect empty stats. Allen Iverson and Monta Ellis come to mind. One helped his team win while being inefficient, the other did not. Second of all, Angel shot 50% from within 2ft of the basket as a post player on a team that had a 10-30 record. Rickea has shot 70% for her career from within 2ft as a wing player and has the Sky already at 2-0 on the season. Rickea also shoots, 8% higher on shots 3-10ft, 5% higher on midrange shots, and twice as high from 3pt when you line up their careers. So her efficiency has been significantly better than Reese's. Plus Chicago is winning right now.

Listen man it’s ok to be excited but I’m not about to let bs like this stand. Shes shooting 22% from 3 and 34% overall. We not about to glaze her for the same stuff we got on Angel about which is efficiency. This is just volume rn. Cut this shit out.
