@infantrydort To those of us who have watched DEI hires inserted into hierarchies due to their membership in protected minority classes, the Atlantic accusation against a return to meritocracy is an especially egregious case of sheer hubris.

@L0m3z They aren't ditching anything, just putting it back in the closet to appeal to more voters. See: Virginia.

Dems willing to ditch trans and affirmative action and get back to “law and order,” still won’t budge on importing the third world, despite how unpopular it is. Should tell you a lot.

Dems who now want to moderate on culture war issues still refuse to acknowledge how popular immigration enforcement is. Deporting criminals is a 75/25 issue with >60% approval among Dems. Deportations of all illegals remains >50% issue. Immigration is still a huge winner.

The best available evidence that I am familiar with says that in pure electoral terms the most potent things for Democrats to moderate on are affirmative action, teacher pay, gender/kids stuff, fossil fuels, and harsher punishment for property crime. nytimes.com/2026/03/16/opi…

@RealJamesWoods Where there are places that put you in danger and then restrict your ability to protect yourself due to racist and ideological policies.... don't be there. Don't live there, don't travel there, don't support it in any way. You don't have to live like this, and you shouldn't.

@OwenShroyer1776 Between fuel prices blowing up ticket costs on top of cost of living, and people avoiding air travel due to the highly publicized TSA delays, this isn't hard to figure out.

The War on Poverty didn’t conquer poverty, it entrenched it, fostering a permanent underclass through dependency and family breakdown. The Inflation Reduction Act did no such thing, it fueled more spending and inflationary pressure. The Patriot Act was anything but patriotic, erecting a vast, permanent surveillance state that eroded civil liberties in the name of security. Time and again, these grandly named “Acts” deliver the precise opposite of their promises. Government interventions routinely ignore second-order consequences, distorted incentives, unintended behaviors, and cascading failures, leaving us with more problems than we started with. Perhaps it’s time for Washington to step back from micromanaging the economy and people’s lives, before the unintended damage grows even worse.

@AuronMacintyre I agree with everything you said here, except the "for fun" part. These people are deadly serious about gaining absolute power, and when they do the mass killing starts. Once you know he is Cenk Uygur's nephew, then you begin to understand.

Hasan is a spoiled rich dilettante playing with Marxism for fun, Marxism is generally the ideology of the upper class failson That said, there is an uncomfortable truth lurking behind his words America was founded by Anglo Saxons for the benefit of themselves and their posterity, that part is in the Federalist Papers and the Constitutions Those European systems define our religion, our traditions, our understanding of government, and our expectations for families There is no aspect of our system that was not influenced by and intended for people who exist in that tradition This isn’t “white supremacy” it’s just the way every civilization is constructed India is structured for Indians, China for the Chinese We are a real people with a real history, and our institutions reflect that truth No reason to run from it or be ashamed of it, as Trump has recently proven

@dalepartridge The answer to that is depressing. We can’t have nice things until the country is 75% or more Christian. He said that today. And because you want nice things prior to that ultra majority, that makes you a Christless Nationalist.

As Christian nationalists, it’s really frustrating to hear our reformed brothers’ critiques sometimes. Here, James White is responding to @dalepartridge’s tweet about the five ways to save the country. Initially, James frames the post as being racist, rolls his eyes, raises his eyebrows, etc. But then, he expresses substantial agreement on three out of the five recommendations! And the only two where there’s disagreement, it’s only due to James’ over-realized eschatology. There’s a lot of room for unity here if White could stop knee-jerking to ists and isms like some sort of social justice warrior.

The fall of The Daily Wire needs to be studied. They were the biggest conservative media company outside of the mainstream by a long shot and now they’re laying off half of their work force after just a few years.

@DolioJ Great movie. Some movies just barely have a plot as a framework to hang action scenes on, while others explore deeper themes. This is one of the latter.

The Tucker-NYTimes clip on the Antichrist was deceptively edited. It was made to look like he denied using those words, then was shown (then and there) a clip of him using those words, to which he responds that he never used those words. What obviously actually happened was that he denied using those words, then she read them to him, and he responds that he never used them because he wouldn't claim something like that. The clip was thrown in the middle of the conversation post-edit to make it appear like he was insane or straight up lying. The older clip in full has him saying that this is what others are claiming, but he himself isn't sure. He clearly forgot that he actually did use those words, but was correct that he wouldn't positively make such a claim. People that I know are better than this are falling for it.

So far this weekend, I’ve seen about 3 groups of anti-Trump protestors hanging out on highway overpasses holding signs about abolishing ICE or “saving our democracy” and without fail, the demographic composition of these groups is so old that I don’t think a single one of them isn’t collecting social security.

@maximumwiley @FrankStein @ChristianHeiens We are talking past each other. The war is causing the spike in oil prices. The Exxon CEO said even if the war ends tomorrow it will take months for the global energy markets to reach full capacity again. Trump says the war ends and prices immediately drop. He’s wrong.

If Republicans are able to redraw Louisiana, and if the Virginia referendum is defeated in the courts, and if no further Blue states are able to redraw their maps between now and November, then Republicans would have close to a 50/50 shot at holding the House in the midterms. Below is a potential map of what that could look like. It’s an extremely narrow gauntlet to run through, but there is currently an outside chance of it happening.

@ElmCityJon1 @FrankStein @ChristianHeiens Are we pretending that a war of choice disrupting roughly 12% of the world's energy supplies, among other things, is not affecting the price of fuel? That the current price of oil on the world market is simply Big Oil cashing in? What a retarded level of cope.
