Have a recovery event in Nashville next week. The attire is black tie/ “country chic.” I’ve worn a uniform for several years for any such event. And I’m a black man (this isn’t a race thing- it’s a facts thing- most black mens closets don’t = country chic). Need wardrobe advice!

Just brought my child to an urgent care center because she had a fever and I wanted to get her checked out. The doctor, nor the nurses, wore any masks. “Why would we mask if we are vaccinated?” the nurse told me. I was dumbfounded. I turned around and walked out.

To clarify: we were told the staff were all vaccinated at the beginning of the summer, but then they subsequently hired someone that was unvaccinated. So not deliberate deception just a failure to update us!

We’d been told that all staff at my son’s daycare were vaccinated, but it turns out that wasn’t the case. This week, an unvaccinated teacher tested positive, and now 8 kids, including mine, have too. I don’t have the words for how angry I am
