People. If you’re founder, marketer or anyone trying to make it.
And you don't understand why people watch this. There's something extremely wrong with your perception of what people like and don't like.
This content is extremely entertaining. It doesn't matter that you are intellectual or what your preferences are. It is about the fact that it's short, it has a taboo subject, and it packages it in something incredibly simple and funny to digest.
Stats do not lie. When accounts like this do billions and billions of views combined, that says something about the world. You can either say, "Oh this is worse" or "This is, I'm superior to the people watching this," or you think for yourself, "How can I package my more deep and intellectual content in a way that people want to watch just as much as they want to watch this?"

Today, we’re releasing a feature that allows Claude to control your computer: Mouse, keyboard, and screen, giving it the ability to use any app.
I believe this is especially useful if used with Dispatch, which allows you to remotely control Claude on your computer while you’re away.

If you want to build a successful app AVOID indie hackers like the plague
You might think it's just a group of people building software like you but they literally have the most anti-business mindset possible
For starters:
- They believe competition = bad
- Their ultimate goal is 10k MRR (such low goal)
- They think product > distribution
- They avoid all forms of paid marketing
- They all glaze the same X creators that made them think this "indie hacking" path is feasible
You must unfollow all of these people and get them off your timeline otherwise you'll soon adopt their limiting beliefs

Don't feel that way.
None of this is nearly as "simple" as people make it out on X. It's really hard.
I like Greg. And I like the way he / others empower / teach us all to do amazing things.
But I dislike this kind of "It's SO simple!" content.

@omooretweets This is fair for “generational” companies. Building a generational company sounds like a nightmare for founders now where I think it was romanticized before
Build a b2c app. Pump with ads and make a profit. Go home and relax in the afternoons

lots of AI cos starting to experiment with paid marketing so here’s my take: Paid acquisition is a tax on your product's defensibility. the moment you can't out-spend the incumbents and competitors, you die. build channels that get cheaper as you grow or you're just renting your growth

Pretty soon, I think we’ll see software shipping with Claude Code SDK embedded inside.
Users will use it to configure and modify the software to meet their exact needs.
The best changes will get passed back to the software developer and reincorporated in the master release.
