@maxmcc11 It’s been legal and done in past expansions. Basically picks and cash in exchange for taking a guy. Bobcats did it twice, including with PHX!

So the teams currently hoarding most of the NBA draft picks are just going to entice the expansion teams to pick guys they don’t want for picks, right?

OK it’s time to be VERY excited about Rasheer Fleming

@matthew_foutz Not ruling out his entire career. Just an observation about their play right now.

Remember Rasheer played 3 years of college ball. Maluach is a baby & just started playing the game. That comp isn’t fair. I would say for a guy who’s 3 years younger, played 2 less yrs of college & has a huge cultural shift as an immigrant, Maluach is crushing it. We don’t have to tear a guy down just to make a point on another guy.

Fleming is showing some really exciting things. Unusual combo of size/length and skills. He could be an awesome player. Maluach is… well, he’s out there.

Not sure how much longer the Suns can play Grayson Allen behind Jalen Green.

@maxmcc11 He's still getting adjusted on defense but I thought he looked really well on offense. Set some good screens, had some hard rolls to the basket. Was in position to get a couple lobs too

I’ll always remember feeling like I was going crazy trying to highlight that maybe Ayton had some challenges to overcome out of the draft, while it was actually Doncic many were giving the ‘level of competition’ qualifier. Cc: @maxmcc11 fun times!

Tweeted yesterday about perhaps my biggest takeaway last 3-5 trying to evaluate young talent. Second biggest? The challenge of evaluating athleticism vs functional athleticism. And how much what a guy is doing at lower levels is going to translate to the NBA.

None of this matters because @NateDuncanNBA thinks Devin Booker has played little part in the Suns’ success this year.

@romanhelmetguy You either haven’t read the stoics or have misunderstood the stoics.

Stoicism is popular because apathy is the sickness of our age and stoicism glorifies it. Stoicism is cope for living in a dying society. Stoicism is managed decline. You need to become anti-stoic. You need to become so passionate it’s self-destructive.

The Suns players in this game are almost entirely guys who would be solid-to-fantastic role players on a contending-level team. Makes for a fun watch.

Last few games have been great for the case that Booker is much, much more important that the stats show

Jordan Goodwin has been an absolute delight this season. A 10/10 bench role player performance. There’s not a bad thing to say about how he has played.
