You only need about 20% of a cards actively traded population to start impacting price. There are currently 226 listed on eBay. I just bought another. This might be easier then I thought.





I think one of the biggest misses I see for a lot of people holding cards long term is the thought that once a player gets in the Hall of Fame their cards will increase in value. That really only applies to players who were longshots to get in and were surprise entries. Think someone like CC Sabathia being first ballot. That sort of thing. I promise you LeBron, Brady, Mahomes, Curry, any player who everyone already knows is making the HOF, it will not create a sudden new renaissance in value for their cards. That’s not to say you shouldn’t be holding cards of all time greats long term! It’s simply saying the HOF aspect will not be a force multiplier for their respective markets.
