@1MrFantasy@ShelovesTheBolt@HoernerMVP Couldn’t imagine clowning a team that consistently owns the division, went into wriggly for game 163 and won, operates with half the payroll of the cubs/cardinals when they spend money, and to the team who just last post season knocked out the cubs😂. Cubs fans are delusional
@ArchdukeCollins Elite 5 and dive guys are extremely valuable to a team and a pitching staff, Im a brewers fan who follows the mariners as well but a guy just like that was Peralta, you could always pencil in 5 low score innings and that consistency was huge. Appreciate what u got in Gilbert
Logan Gilbert has an elite k/9 rate but when you need so many pitches to get your Ks, it’s not a valuable trait. That might seem like blasphemy, but Logan fails to put guys away efficiently. It’s a huge problem. I thought 2026 would be a bounce back year, but I’m very concerned.
@TonyKastner34@Joelsherman1@TylerKoerth To say no power is kinda crazy tho look at his frame, the kid is extremely young and hasn’t developed any sorta real ma strength yet, also we have seen time and time again that this money doesn’t create “pressure” but makes these guys now relax because they already have
Fascinating contract that the Brewers signed with Scott Boras client Cooper Pratt, a defense-first SS who ranked No. 50 prospect by BB America: 8 yrs, $50.75M. Hit just .238/.691 OPS/8 HRs at AA in '25, 6th-round pick in '23. Can still be a FA at after age-29 season.
@kminuswalk@Joelsherman1 Extremely young for each level he’s been at, viewed as a first round talent, why is everyone so obsessed with the number, comes out to like 6/7 million a season on average and that’s an absolute steal even if he turns out to be league average. Stop tweaking out over nothing.
@TonyKastner34@Joelsherman1@TylerKoerth Gotta be rage bait, I refuse to believe an adult with a fully functioning brain could come to this stupid of a conclusion. Pratt is legit, every single scout will tell u that
@Joelsherman1@TylerKoerth I hate to say it but I can’t help but feel way worse about the #Brewers right now than I did 24 hours ago. Not only do we lose a game we should have won but we also paid a lot of money to a minor leaguer who doesn’t look like much more than a taller version of Joey Ortiz. Bad day
@MatthewMKE98 For years. the brewers are the new Rays and are writing the guidebook on how a small to medium market team should operate to maximize assets. I can always pull for Turang on another team and as much as I love Turang he may have not wanted to stay a brewer his whole life and I can
Brice Turang just feels like the next Peralta, Burns, Williams, Durbin
Where they move him in the offseason
I just don’t see a world where they give him 200 million knowing Made, Pena, Pratt, Williams, Fischer and Wilken are all coming
Not saying I agree, but I understand it
@Cubs Lmaooooo complete joke. Idc if this is the first series you don’t lose at home to the nationals if you are a serious baseball team. Not like this won’t come back and bite them in the ass 😂😂
@yeattalk@NotUrSavior03 Mfs don’t get that ye has YEARS in the game and time to develop a fan base and Yeat was still able to compete down to the wire with him. I’m convinced yeat will just never have the public’s respect.
