@zandook Even then we didn't tbh. There are still supporting characters, but it's such a diminished focus these days, and every other character has superpowers too. Just ain't the same as the slice of life flavors we used to get from every issue

This cast of characters IS Spider-Man to me. The fact we don't have it like this anymore will always be tragic to me

Spider-Man was never just cool cus of the rogues or the powers or even Peter himself. He was cool cus there was this whole slice of life angle that honestly was more interesting than all of that stuff. It wasn't always the focus, but it was a reliable source of drama and joy imo
