@NadineDorries How these ‘not even useful as chip paper’ anymore rags can call themselves journalists is beyond me. Headline I saw on visiting the site was deaths halved (as they’ve done for weeks at weekends) and tests down (they are available, people not travelling to test centres).

The numbers themselves are encouraging ONLY for the fact that we can now test many asympomatic people - we can then follow them and find out the numbers behind ‘the majority of people suffer no or mild symptoms’

It really doesn't matter whether anyone believes the target was met or not. NB. 1. Prof Newton says the way things are counted hasn't changed. 2. A week ago 28k tests were done. Whether you think 122k or 73k were done yesterday, everyone working on this deserves praise.

So Turkey is withholding this PPE promised to the UK whilst we’ve got two C17’s sat at Brize Norton fuelled and ready to go to Istanbul to pick it up. I’m no expert, but seeing how many that there are on Twitter & Facebook, this is surely Boris Johnson or Matt Hancock’s fault.

No I haven’t Piers! What a ridiculous interpretation. I said society needs to adapt. It would be more helpful to talk about ‘relaxing lockdown’ than constantly demanding an ‘exit strategy.’ My point being, some of you guys need to start asking more intelligent questions.
