🌟 WEVERSE
J-Hope post:
ARMY! Just writing whatever comes to mind before I fall asleep.
Now that we've finished the final full rehearsal, I feel like we've done our best and prepared as hard as we possibly could.
I'm curious! About the reactions all who will be watching this performance will have!
Maybe since we all have different tastes, perspectives, and different desires, the common ground might be a bit vague, but still, both you and us wanted to see each other and have been waiting for this moment, haven't we?
I think that one feeling is the same.
And that's what tomorrow will be made of, the very first opening of this performance!
We've been waiting! For this very moment!!!
Like never before, let's have a blast and enjoy it!!
There's rain in the forecast, and from rehearsals, I know it gets pretty cold in the evening.
Dress warmly!! I'd be heartbroken if you were to catch a cold~
Finally, this might be a little out of nowhere, but…
I just truly love you and thank you!! Hahahahaha
We'll show you an amazing performance tomorrow!!!
Have a good night! ☺️😚💜

With this album, both the members and I shared a clear and deliberate goal: to move beyond the long-standing “boy band” label – often shaped by deep-rooted biases in the Western music industry – and to firmly establish BTS as true artists.
In the past, many artists who began in boy bands attempted this transition by leaving their groups and pursuing solo careers. But there has never really been a case where a group maintained its identity while fully breaking those preconceptions and redefining itself within. To achieve this, we made a conscious decision: to deeply respect the genre and musical traditions we come from – but never remain confined by them.
At the same time, we wanted the lyrics and messaging to reflect, more honestly than before, how we see the world and what we feel in this very moment.
In many ways, this kind of work requires artists to reveal themselves completely – to lay bare not only their thoughts, but also their vulnerabilities. That’s why this album represents BTS as they are today – the seven members themselves, their candid expression of their inner selves.

some armys themselves don’t know how to argue with someone who denies bts paving the way. y’all keep confusing “being there first” with “paving the way” and it’s why this convo goes in circles every time. so here it is.
the western industry didn’t start consistently making space for K-pop acts before bts. k-pop wasn’t treated as a mainstream, chart-dominating force. There wasn’t a repeatable pathway for multiple groups or artists to follow. Media still treated K-pop as niche or novelty.
gangam style was a viral novelty, one hit wonder. you wanna mention shinee, big bang, girls generation; all were recognised within pocket. not mainstream system. those were “moments.”
bts turned one-off appearances into sustained chart success, forced western media, charts, and award shows to adapt and include, made it “easier” for groups after them to enter the same spaces. yes, kpop acts before bts had international moments; tours, award wins, collabs, even recognition in western spaces. no one is denying that. but those moments didn’t change the system. they didn’t make the industry more accessible, they didn’t shift how media, charts, or labels treated kpop long-term, and they didn’t create a consistent path for others to follow. paving the way is about impact after you. it’s when the environment itself changes.
after bts, you don’t see “rare kpop appearances” anymore. you see entries, debuts, festival slots, charting, brand deals happening more frequently across multiple groups. that shift didn’t exist before at this huge scale.
brief visibility ≠ sustained success
paving the way is when your impact changes the environment itself. when what you did doesn’t end with you.
sure a lot of people did it first, not denying that. but if people still have to fight the same barriers the same way after you, you didn’t pave the way, you just passed through.

Three weeks with 100K+ sales is actually insane. There are so few artists who can do this today. This puts us at 950K total for three weeks -- a stone's throw away from platinum in less than a month. I!N!S!A!N!E!!!!!!

Watching all of these BTS orders get canceled is brutal for innocent fans.
1. It’s good that Ticketmaster identified and banned people who broke the rules using bots. Hopefully there’s real accountability and consequences for that behavior.
2. Ticketmaster won’t say it outright, but this feels like a direct hit to secondary markets. The chaos this creates stress for fans, uncertainty around resale tickets and makes people question whether those platforms are even safe. Maybe it sounds conspiratorial, but it’s hard not to wonder if this also benefits Ticketmaster’s own resale platform, where they collect hefty fees on every transaction.
3. The newly released tickets are a positive for fans, but the lack of pricing transparency until the purchase window opens is frustrating. Why not be upfront? It raises concerns about whether this could lead to even more aggressive dynamic pricing in the future (BTS said they are not using dynamic), especially if tickets are being held back intentionally.
4. Most importantly, the innocent fans who had their tickets canceled should absolutely get priority access to the new releases. If those exact tickets are going back on sale, why not give those fans the option to repurchase them at face value?
Good luck to all BTS fans—definitely recommend submitting a request. Hopefully everyone gets a fair shot at seeing them live.

we can always express our opinions but we cannot demand anything from them. times changed, they grew up, we also grew up. let's not forget this is a new chapter and as much as we love group content it's very clear they want to do other things individually too which are going to consume a lot of their time. with the tour coming up and all the things they want to do for themselves it is going to be extremely exhausting to continue doing certain things. i just hope they don't feel obligated and exhaust themselves. we are still getting a bunch of content and tbh that's enough for me
