📣The CSDDD has passed in COREPER. A compromise of a comrpomise of a compromise, with a lot of disapointments in then last minute. But still a law that has potential to fundamentally change the way European companies adress Human Rights impacts

📢 Today, COREPER endorsed the #EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive. Despite many drawbacks in the past weeks, the diluted deal is better than none. It brings us one step closer towards mandatory #HumanRights and Environmental #DueDiligence 🌎👫 #CSDDD #HREDD

So dissapointing that the EU member states did not endorce the deal that was already done in December. There is still two weeks left for it to be approved before the elections. Citizens, civil society, the UN, and progressive companies call loud for this 📣
