I just realized that my prop firm model would in theory, allow for traders to have an uncapped number of concurrent trading accounts. You guys have no idea how bad the sim-ponzi insurance model is until you go about trying to build a firm yourself. Change is coming.

@Jacobtradesz How do you blow all your accounts in 1 day? Everytime... your risk must be very poor. Props are trying to ban account churners, and I would honestly put you in that bracket with how often you blow accounts

Evals jail is a real thing But when you get out and start getting payouts it feels so good Don’t give up the ROI is insane if you get 1-2 payouts on this one account alone It is all worth it

@waserek @Topstep I'm not sure how I feel about that... It may be okay for you in your situation with a massive balance, but what if you trade 1-5 micros, take max payouts and have like 10k combined on all accounts? You move to live with 2k...

@AskTopstep So lets think logically about this... Topstep increase their prices, move many traders to live before reaching 5 payouts in their XFAs and significantly reduce the amount of earned profits they can move to live immediately. Topstep have been hit hard with metals. Dont be stupid

We want to quickly address the confusion regarding the changes that we made to our Live Funded Account program and highlight main changes.  Some of our competitors have misconstrued our changes and altered the narrative.  We will quickly clear the air below. - Changes were not made retroactively, this will only impact Live Accounts created on a go-forward basis. - IMPORTANTLY: Topstep still gives traders access to the highest total balance in Live markets in the industry.  Our competitors that share this model significantly limit the available balance in Live and their starting balance is lower than ours by a factor of 3x-10x.  Trading well gives traders access to the full 50k, 100k, or 150k balance and we are the only firm in the industry doing this. - Topstep traders will begin with up to 20% of their account value and scale up from there. - DLL: NOTHING has changed to our DLL approach, Topstep has never and will NEVER move to an intraday trailing drawdown methodology. There have been no changes to our Payout Policy or Live Trader Bonus schedule. TLDR: Only change is to the beginning balance, traders now scale up and scale in to the full account balance.  NO CHANGE to Payout Policy, DLL calculations, or Live Trader Bonus.
