I constantly hear stories of the elderly being killed in hospital now. Admitted for a leg ulcer, ignored for four days in a side room and then put straight onto palliative care and starved to death. Is it any wonder people are fukin angry. It made me angry listening. You wont see the masses clapping on doorsteps for you dancing tik tokers ever again i can tell you.

@JamesMelville Agree in some ways but why aren't family stepping up ? daughter has worked on frailty wards where elderly are sat for weeks yet have many family visitors... Why aren't they stepping up and taking them home to be looked after . Some only there with broken arms but live alone

The way in which the elderly are treated in the UK is disgraceful. Digitisation of everything. Lack of care support. Winter fuel allowance removal. NHS treatment waiting lists. Reduction in public services. This will leave so many elderly people in terrible health, lack of support, poverty and isolation Remember when they said “save granny”? The government don’t give a shit about granny.

@JamesMelville It's not just the elderly. As the mother of 2 adults with additional needs,life isn't so rosy for them either. Everything you list is the same for the disabled in this country. What happens when people like me are no longer here?? Nobody will protect mine and others like them.
