@aripap As of 2021 regularly (i.e., daily) rebooting your device will keep your phone clean on iOS. Consider activating Lockdown Mode on your phone. A burner phone with no cloud services enabled may be useful in some cases.

Yesterday I retweeted something about a shady Israeli surveillance company using RTB to track people. Today I got a weird iMessage and when I went to check it my phone rebooted. Should I wipe my phone? Am I being paranoid?

I made a mistake scoring the DeNYC Treasure Hunt. It was a dumb error on my part, I apologize to all participants for the unnecessary stress and inconvenience. The “Shoey or Bust” team submitted all of their challenges to our team on time and have been verified. They’ve earned a total of 4070 points, securing the second place finish for the DeNYC Treasure Hunt. This impacts every team apart from the winners, for that I am sorry. In college, I worked for Red Bull. They do this big scavenger hunt where people trade cans of Red Bull to travel across Europe. One time, we did a smaller version with our regional team in Ft. Worth, Texas. I did some pretty crazy things that day, many of which were inspiration for challenges on our DeNYC Treasure Hunt. I can’t even remember what we were competing for, just all the fun I had doing crazy shit around the city with my friends. I hope some of you left New York with a similar feeling. @frankdegods The DeJennys (@mbaltrusitis and myself) followed the announcement graphics which stated cut off of 9 *AM* EST on 4/15. We, and I'm sure many others, would've continued completing challenges on 4/15 if cut off was 9 *PM*
