@RyanQualtrics My dad would love to go. He has become a die hard mammoth fan at age 67. He got all of his boys (even me who lives in deep Dallas Stars territory) mammoth hoodies for Christmas. He texts us tusks up before every game. I don’t think he’s missed watching a game yet.

I’m hosting 8 Mammoth fans in my suite on Friday for our first home play off game ever… Who should go and why?

@crunchlabs my son’s box this month came without the right color motor wires for the omnibot forklift. The forklift does not work. How can we get the correct motor and motor wires?

@jazzmomm It is sticker shock. But I would say $50 sounds like a deal these days. My kids’ were closer to $80-$100 if i remember right.

@Tjonesonthenba He is so timid and passive on the court. Reminds me of watching Dante Exum his rookie year. Only Dante had the ball in his hands so at least he was part of the play.

I'll go a step further - it doesn't matter even if you do win. If BYU wins out, they go to the CFP. If they don't, they don't. The rankings right now make zero difference in that calculus. A two-loss BYU is not going to get in whether they win the conference or not.

Listening takes courage. It takes courage to risk having to change how you see the world. It takes courage to get into someone else's mind when they see the issue differently than you. If it doesn't take courage, it's not the kind of listening that changes lives.

KD had a hand on Lauri as he rose up, hit his shooting hand during the shot, and pushed into his landing spaces so Lauri landed on him. He fouled in three separate ways. But he grazed the ball so that’s ok?

Anyone can do it once. The best do it consistently. Anyone can order a healthy meal once. Anyone can get up early to workout once. Anyone can save more than they earn for a month. Anyone can take their partner on a date once. Anyone can write a page. Anyone can focus on one thing for an hour. Most people can’t do it consistently because they want instant gratification. Just because the results aren't immediately visible, doesn’t meant they are not accumulating. As these ordinary moments compound over weeks and months into results that are anything but ordinary. Consistently boring days make for extraordinary decades.

I journal every single morning for at least 30 minutes. I've been doing this since 2010. But over the years, I've learned you can (very easily) overcomplicate the act of journaling. Which is why now I only use 4 prompts Question #1: "What did I do yesterday?" The very first thing I do is reflect on the past 24 hours: • What did I do yesterday? • How did it feel? • What did I learn? I like this prompt because only the most important things come to mind. Pay attention. Question #2: "What am I working on?" A big part of journaling for me is repeating things I want to internalize: • Repeating goals • Repeating mindset patterns • Repeating feelings & lessons The more I repeat it in my journal, the more I think about it during the day. Question #3: "What's coming up?" Next, I look toward the future. What's around the bend? What can I start proactively processing through now? This helps prepare the mind in advance for feelings, challenges, or obstacles—and helps you not feel so "caught off guard." Question #4: "What am I grateful for?" I end every journaling session with a Thank You. I thank the path in front of me. I remind myself I am grateful for every opportunity to learn, whether it's difficult or not. And I welcome the day to come with open arms. I started journaling deliberately like this when I was 19 years old. I'd just gotten back from a rehab trip, and felt extremely lost & confused. I didn't know what I wanted out of life, or whether I would amount to much. So I wrote to myself about it. This has become my favorite part about journaling over long periods of time: You can literally see the progress in front of you. Things I journaled about when I was 19, I don't journal about anymore. I've grown out of them. Keeping a journal documents your growth as a human. I will keep this habit until the day I die. I attribute a significant portion of my success over the past 5 years to my daily journaling practice. There is no better way to hear yourself, become conscious of your thoughts, and take actionable steps forward.
