A breakthrough announcement on the first day of #COP29: Parties have reached a consensus on standards for the creation of carbon credits under Article 6.4 of the Paris Agreement. Fully operationalising Article 6 is a key priority for the COP29 Presidency and this is an essential step in reaching that goal. It will enable #climateaction and help direct resources to the developing world.
